UPDATED 15 October 2022: Still a great place to get a great sub! ---------------------------- Looking for an awesome sub? You... need to visit American Hero Restaurant! The subs are made with care and fresh ingredients. Meats and cheeses are slicedspecifically for your sub, not cut ahead of time and stored. Bread is super fresh and tasty. It wouldn't surprise me if thebread is made daily in store. I ordered the ham, salami, and cheeses sub today. It was a tough decision because everythingsounded so good. Subs are a good size! I got a "regular" sub and cities only way half of it. That's good because I can't waitto have the leftovers. This is definitely a family-run business and they care for their customers. Today is the day beforefather's day - the staff was wishing fathers Happy Father's Day. That was a nice touch. I can't wait to go back and try more oftheir delicious food!! Read more

The quality of the meat is not there. Once you eat Boar?s Head nothing else compares. They make a decent sub but quality meat... would make it great. Read more

I got giant pastrami sandwich, large grape kool-aid drink, pineapple cake, and salt flavored chips. It was very delicious and... was two meals in one and very economical. Toppings are fresh and phenomenal. I keep coming back. Salads are large anddelicious. Read more

Not a bad place, but not my thing. The people that run it are friendly. Joking and flirting with customers. It's almost like a... little sitcom just waiting in line. I have to give them credit for slicing stuff right as you order it and being prettyfast. What I didn't like; only one vegetarian sandwich on the whole menu and it's just cheese. With AMERICAN CHEESEnonetheless. That stuff only belongs on grilled cheese or burgers! Also, I didn't like that when I said "everything on it" theyadded in pickles and peppers which they charge extra for but didn't ask or say anything to that effect. So my sub ended up beinga little more expensive than what I wanted to spend on lunch. I couldn't exactly ask them to unmake the sub so I bought it. Andit was decent enough. Also, this place is not as cheap as it looks. Maybe it's just inflation but I don't like doing $10 forlunch. Probably a solid spot for meat eaters. Also got to give them credit for the video games and pool tables. Along with theover the top christian stuff. I'm not a christian myself, but I appreciate when a place has personality, unlike Panera, SubwayJJ's etc. According to the sign, they had a fire and the bible didn't burn, just got a little damaged. (see photos) So they sayit was a miracle! Perhaps they should use miracle whip instead of mayonnaise? Maybe a good place for families, since they gotvideo games and pool tables. Read more
