Reviews for Butterfields Buffet in Durant, OK

I don't like leaving bad reviews for anyone however we are extremely disappointed in Choctaw on this one! We went to the buffet... on Veteran's day. My husband and I ate free because we are veterans however we took our kids out with us and paid for them toeat. We were charged for a seafood buffet which has jumped from $32.99 a person to apparently $40.00 a person which is fine forthe most part with the price of food now but had there been any SEAFOOD even there!!! The closest they got was shrimp andoysters. Um, I am sorry that is a very sad excuse for "seafood" buffet and no reason to charge $40 a person!! Even then to topit off the choices we even slim pickings. We will not be going back because every time we have gone in this last 3 years we havebeen more disappointed than the last time which is really sad because we used to love going out there with our family. The servers were GREAT! The food was NOT, very disappointed especially for the price, chicken and fish were dry, there we next... to no vegetables. They were out if lobster and crab and still charged $40 each plus tax. Would have been better off going toGolden Corral Read more

First?.once the server seated us?.We never seen her again?Im glad our meals were complementary?total ended up being a whopping... $65! I couldnt even begin to imagine having to pay more than $1 for the food offered at the buffet. I?d should have asked themthe switch it to $5 in free play. The place looked clean, on weekdays the lunch buffet seems small and kinda limited on items, the deserts looked really nice but... I didn't get a chance to try them. The waiter did seem to be on top of things and helpful, even the bus boy asked me if I neededanything which kinda impressed me. The staff inside was polite and friendly. Read more

Wayyyy overpriced at $30 per person. We arrived for Sunday brunch. The food was extremely ok. The food service at the... counters was ok. Some counters didn't have anyone serving and you had to stand and wait a while. The ones that were servingweren't listening to what was asked for and moved on to the next person before we were done ordering. The salt shakers at thetable were clogged and they said they had a humidity problem. The lid was rusty and the salt was too. Would not come back andthe price left me not wanting to waste any more money in this casino. Read more
