We love this place. Our drinks and food was spot on. Just delicious. Every staff person we spoke with was very friendly and... seemed to be happy with their job. I love that about a place. A gentleman (I assume a manager) was walking around checking onpeople and being very personable. Definitely a place you want to visit often. The Frog Legs and Gator bites were so good. Oh,and the green drink, a long island with melon liqueur instead of orange liqueur with no sour mix or coke. You're welcome. lol Read more

The food was absolutely delicious the service was incredible the atmosphere was amazing. Who did high buffalo shrimp mac and... cheese off the chain Gator tail so delicious. The fries and chicken tenders were so good. Worth every penny. Read more

Laid back spot on the Withlacoochee River to grab a feed and a cold one. I've dropped in several times and have never had a bad... experience at Blue Gator. Food is always hot and fresh. Great watering hole w amazing food and outstanding service!! All our food was overstuffed and delicious we all split... plates..fish and chips,Pastrami Caesar salad..the view of man made spring was great,and they offer boat rides!! Had the 6 shrimp with 2 grouper fingers deal with steamed veggies and hush puppies as sides, got the shrimp grilled and the... grouper blackened with cocktail and tartar sauce on the side. It was great and the flavor was good , the shrimp and grouperwere cooked just right, juicy and tender and not dried out. The veggies were fresh and firm ... excellent. The only thing Icould fuss about is the size of the shrimp, medium size at best, and the grouper fingers were exactly that , about the size of agrown man's middle finger. Great staff , great atmosphere, Very nice rustic place and it's on the water as well even though yourview of the river is blocked by the dock you can take a walk on the dock while you wait for your food. Parking is cramped aswell but worth the effort to visit , full bar as well. Read more
