What an experience! The Private Rum Room experience was incredible! Cameron and Lisa made the evening magical. The drinks and... food were exquisite and you could tell that Cameron is very passionate about creating uniquely inspired cocktail creations thatyou will not find anywhere else! I had the Tuna Poke Bowl and it was great as was the Tuna Stake I had the next day I went. All the food here is great as is... there Delicious Drinks, and the staff is always Friendly and very accommodating. Especially Kelly she is awesome and alwaysmakes sure that your good and well taken care of. Kelly is a great asset to Honu. Read more
We had a lovely date night dinner which reminded us of Hawaii! We sat outside and listened to the live musician. The drink I had... was probably the best drink I?ve ever had?it was spicy and sweet and begged me to have another! Spicy coconut colada. The foodwas good and the service was excellent. Wow. I can?t believe we waited so long to try this place. My wife and I were both blown away. It?s clear from the moment you sit... down that the owners have busted their butt to not only make this a warm, inviting place, but they?ve kept it that way foryears. This place is immaculate. From our delicious drinks to the fresh upside down pineapple cake we had for dessert, thisplace tells a story with its food. When we left the patio I felt like we had just returned to reality from a trip to theislands. Of course, the drinks helped with that illusion ????. This is now one of our favorite places. Awesome little spot in downtown dunedin, upon arriving we were lucky to find parking in their little lot -- the is only about... ten spots, but plenty of parking nearby. For seating outside/outback the wait time was about thirty minutes, but while waitingyou can grab a drink and lounge near the front. Once seated the staff was attentive and friendly and the food/drinks were great!There was live music with added to the ambiance that is all around. Service and setting were nice but the drinks came out too sweet. Good selection of local beers for an alternative. The food was... sub par. Ordered the green curry with shrimp. I make my own and several ingredients were missing, including heat and fish sauce.I wouldn't order that again but the side salad with ginger dressing was good. Brother in laws fish dish was over cooked but hisfiances chicken sandwich looked good and he gave good reviews. The bees loved us, and didn't sting. Read more
I cannot recommend this place enough! I have been here multiple times and each and every time has been an amazing and special... experience. The staff and owners are super friendly.
