From the moment we walked in to the moment we left it was an incredible experience. My wife and I were celebrating our... birthdays on vacation and found this restaurant. We indicated on the reservation that we were celebrating our birthday and satdown to a card signed by the entire staff of the restaurant. Never had something like that been done for our birthday. Bryan wasour server and he was extremely attentive. The food was out of this world good! We ordered the loaded baguette for theappetizer, my wife got the duck l?orange and I ordered the boullabaisse followed by the crème brûlée for dessert. We werealso given complementary champagne and chocolate truffles to help celebrate our birthday. My wife said the duck was as good aswhen she had it in Paris and my boullabaisse had the freshest seafood and was a top dish I?ve ever had. I wish we could keepcoming back but unfortunately we?re visiting from New York but we will be sure to come back again next time we?re down. French onion was too full of bread... made broth gooey,...$9. Scallop stuffed mushroom,$28 was basically 1 mushroom,... quartered.. drenched in heavey cream sauce, topped with sprouts and red pepper, or tomatoes, hard to tell...did't find anyscallops at all. The maitre was cold and rude... Felt like a single person dining alone, I was forced to sit at the bar.Claimed all the tables were reserved... Plenty of empty tables, my entire stay. Working in NY , food service and catering mostof my life. I am glad I tried this place before I embarrassed myself bringing my family visiting from NY tomorrow..Reviews aregreat, ..however, the prices are completely out of control for the value of the meal. I would suggest you try a different venueif you really want an enjoyable dining experience. Greatly disappointed. Read more

Exceptional flavor profiles in each dish. Combinations of accompaniments to the main allow for a different taste with each bite,... if desired. Creative cocktails, amazing service and knowledgeable staff. Great wine offerings. They literally have everythingyou'd want for a memorable experience. We'll be back! Read more

We had a group celebrating a birthday. Michael made sure we felt very welcomed with a birthday card signed by the staff waiting.... Everything was absolutely perfect. Every dish came out cooked exactly to temp and plated with thought. The live music wasentertaining but soft enough to not be distracting. The hardest part of the night was trying to decide what was our favoritedish. Mine was a toss up between the pork belly cabonara and the warm lemon zest French cruller with ice cream. It's greathaving a truly excellent restaurant right here in Dunedin. Read more

Chef Ryan's flavor profiles are phenomenal and the food is cooked to perfection. Do it! UPDATE: Just keeps getting better. The... food is why you need to come here, but we just felt the atmosphere and the music added more depth to an already 5 starexperience. This place is a culinary gem, and it exceeded all of my expectations! The foie gras was the best I've ever eaten, and paired... with the most luscious pomegranate cream sauce, pecans, and poached pears. For a truly decadent experience, I would highlyrecommend ordering the French cruller dessert with it to soak up all that creamy pomegranate sauce and the rich juices from thefoie gras. . . The sticky short ribs & cornbread appetizer is also a great choice, with the most tender, melt-in-your-mouthmeat, heavenly truffle cream sauce, and a sweet and savory stout anise glaze. We had another amazing experience at the Parlor House Bistro ! Jeremy, our server, provided incredible service and made us feel... extremely special during our dining experience. I say experience, because the food was off the charts ! Kevin, the owner, andchef extraordinaire made us feel like family as he did with every table in the packed restaurant, talking to everyone and makingsure their meals were of the excellence he strives for. Everything was fresh and delicious. Our party of 6 each got somethingdifferent on the menu and all raved about their dish. I can't say enough wonderful things about this place! I felt like I was back in Paris again. The food was superb and so... flavorful, the cocktails beautifully crafted, and the desserts were out of this world. The service was great, too. Very friendlyand attentive. I can't wait to go back! Read more
