Delco's is a beautiful thing ???????? a peice of Philly in Tampa Bay. There's only two spots you can get delcos that I know of,... this is the original location. Quality is off the charts ???? service is killer, makes you feel like you been going here foryears. It's exactly how it is in Philly, you pay cash, you better know what you want because that lime behind the counter iscranking of mound of deliciousness and they aint got the time. Make sure you bring cash, as thats only what's accepted. (Justlike philly!) While you eat you drift to the ole days when pops took you down to Delcos before the ball game. Their sandwiches are so good. When I want to treat myself I go there. They are...... wait for it.... legendary. Didn't even... make it out of the parking lot. The only compliant is I wish they were bigger...... ???? Don't forget your cash because theydon't take plastic. Read more
My first visit. This is a mixed review. Came in an hour before closing, and they were slammed. Ordered a cheese steak for myself... and a roast pork Sammie for Mrs. Bob with a side of fries and a side of rings. Surprise #1: No credit cards. No problem, I havethe cash. There goes 30 bucks. Surprise #2: I get a bag that weighs about 40 pounds. Yikes! My cheese steak with mushrooms isfreaking delicious, even though they LEFT OFF THE CHEESE. Weird. The swine Sammy is absolutely delicious and oh so moist. Eventhough they over-toasted the bun. The 17 pounds of fries are absolutely done right. Crispy on the outside and creamy on theinside. So, my neighbors and friends have been telling me to check Delco's out. We finally had lunch here and loved it. This not your... foo-foo restaurant, this is a working man's (and women's) sports-loving sandwitch shop. They have roots in the Philadelphia areaand the decor certainly shows it. We both had chicken cheese steaks with fries. The food was served nice and hot and wasperfect. I'll sample the cheese steak next and have no doubt it will be awesome. I've been told the place is usually packed andnow I know why. We were lucky and snagged a table. We may just do carryout next time. So, if you are looking for a great lunchmenu with out all the frills (note, the sports theme is still way cool and entertaining) this is your place. Read more
I heard some fantastic things about Delco's famous steak sandwiches. My wife and I stopped in today, but left disappointed. ... Busy little place, packed- both in Resturant, outside, and to go. Long wait, got the sandwiches, but were quite disappointed. Meat chopped up very small pieces, hardly any cheese, paid extra for mushrooms, didn't see many. Taste was average. Onionrings were average. Fries looked better. My wife and I are giving this a 3 star because we actually have two restaurants thatwe feel had a better sandwich. Read more

Easily the best cheesesteak I've ever had, and if you look at my reviews I've eaten a bunch of them. Steak was tender and... plentiful being the oddball I am I got it "all the way", when they say it they mean it. Sweet peppers, hit peppers, mushrooms,lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and more!
