Reviews for Cricketers British Pub & Restaurant Dunedin in Dunedin, FL
We have been driving by and hearing how good this place was for too long and it was definitely worth the wait! I should have... known we were in for a good meal when we pulled up and saw the sky. The hostess at the door seated us right away and Megan wasthe wonderful server that took care of us. Ice cold beer, delicious fish and chips and a great atmosphere made for a wonderfuldinner, but the mushrooms were the hit of the night. They were delicious! I can?t wait to go back for another pint and anothergo at the menu. May want to split, the portions were huge. Read more
Excellent pub and restaurant. Nice selection of British, Irish and pub fare. Very generous portion; you will not leave hungry.... Daily specials and happy hour specials as well. Nice collection of brew concoctions involving Guiness Stout. Read more
I'm glad we went. It was convenient to reach when we were leaving the beach. The server (Megan) was personable and responsive. I... got the theme but it didn't really have the atmosphere of a British pub or eatery. They were able to make me a good Shandy, which I appreciated. I got the bangers and mash and was a little disappointed with the taste of the sausages. Not authentic atall and they were overcooked. Good gravy and peas though. We will visit again and try something else. Read more
Everything was very good. The artichoke dip could use a bit more flavor but at the same time the wonton wedges make up for that... in every bite. Our server was amazing and checked back regularly and just pleasant from start to finish. And the atmospherereally makes you feel like your at your local pub. Read more

I just read about this restaurant in one of my online magazines. This was our first visit. It was seat yourself, but took a good... while for anyone to come and wait on us (husband and myself). Waitress's moved around us before someone finally asked if we hadbeen helped. Others came in after us and got served right away. We were just talking about leaving when someone came over. Itwasn't over populated with people, but definitely was when we left. Good was very good, and my cricketers curry, and it was agenerous serving. It was definitely pricey. $65.00 + for lunch. We didn't drink any thing other than soft drinks. I definitelywould recommend the Scottish egg. Very good. We would probably go again but not often. The atmosphere was good, and I couldimagine that we were in the UK. Read more
Cricketers is truly a genuine British Pub experience. It reminded me of sitting at the Crutched Friar in London. Sipping a... Fuller ESB (a proper British ale) , enjoying comfort food topped with apple crumble for dessert. Yes , the fish and chips arefantastic, crispy battered cod that melts in your mouth. The onion rings are similarly fried and rival the best. The cornedbeef was also a winner, piled high with tender cabbage, red potatoes and carrots. I had to work hard to save room for dessert. We tried both the Apple crumble and the bread pudding. Both excellent. I must turn to the beginning however. The atmosphereis cozy , locals enjoying the game on the tv. Excellent selection of beer on draft including local craft beer and iconicimports that you won?t find easily this side of the pond. I highly recommend trying an English Bitter like the FullerESB.
