Really enjoyed this place, has a nice, laid back, hip, vibe. Located in a charming area, offering delicious food with quality... service, this place has everything going for it. We had the " The Trio" ( salsa verde, marsala hummus, beef queso, and tortillachips) for starters. It was fantastic. We then enjoyed the Lump Crab Nachos , Thai Fried Chicken Wings, and Caracara LettuceWraps. All of these choices were hits .Our server, Gus, was very attentive and on top of things too. We enjoyed a really nice dinner here several weeks ago! They have great options and the portions are pretty big. Some good... vegan/vegetarian options but I do wish they were somewhat more accommodating with switching out meats/tofu or veggies. We reallyenjoyed the cauliflower and would definitely recommend this! Also really recommend the lettuce wraps. The artichoke cakes wereOK but I found them quite lemony and wanted more spice. If it looks closed, try to get in anyways! They?re most likely open.. and both aesthetically and tastefully it was such a find!... I had the pleasure of being served by Marc- Very personable and informed. The kitchen was sweet and accommodating (you can buythem a round for a low cost, I did- as a chef know that it is appreciated). It was taco Tuesday with $5 house margaritas, so Iobliged and couldn?t complain if I wanted to. As far as food goes, I got the crispy tofu with a sichuan eggplant sauce.. lookssimple, but your mouth will be leaking at the flavors that aubergine provides! Also ordered the palm cakes and they were thePERFECT balance of tender and crispy. Delicious remoulade. Thank you for vegan options! The food is really tasty, upscale fusion with a touch of modernity and insane creativity, done with... absolute perfect skill and seasoning. Service is exceptional. The vibe has lots of energy yet cozy at the same time. Greatatmosphere, like you're among a lot of friends :) Cocktails like the East West Gin and Tonic and the Jungle Bird are withoutflaw and perfectly balanced. The food is just outrageously good, the service is some of the best in town. I have never beenremotely disappointed in anything I've ordered. Oh Caracara ?- What a great find! We wanted a quick bite, but we wanted something tasty and flavorful. This hit the spot! I... swear if we were on an island somewhere, this would be the feeling of home cooked food from auntie?s experimental kitchen.Caracara had a great twist on flavors fusing Asian, Spanish, Mediterranean inspired dishes. Our order: Citrus Salad Friedchicken lettuce wraps Short rib taco Falafel Bao Bun All I can say was that every bite was full of flavor, fresh, anddeliciously delightful. These tapas were extremely satiating for two and we shared everything except for the short rib taco. Myboyfriend and I were at the right amount of full. I highly recommend stopping here anytime, especially if you?re feelingadventurous and looking for something outside of the typical Floridian American bar + restaurant. The vegan options were AMAZING! Thank you for offering so many choices. My wife and I enjoyed everything we ate. The tofu tacos... were my personal favorite. The serving staff were friendly and prompt. Highly recommend you try this place even if you aren'tstaying close by. It's worth it. Read more
