I was passing through doing some business in Dallas .. and ran across this place .. Burnetta the young lady that took my order... was very kind and helpful when it came to food choices ., I had the tenders with fries I also added coleslaw and she convincedme to try the “ momma “ peach Tea” .. which was really good .. the food was hot and flavorful the coleslaw was good andmixed well .. so give them a try you won’t be disappointed.. Food is ok they are friendly but ordering for pick up an waiting 20 mins an driving 15 to pick up order just to have to waiting... over 40 mins all together for food an they dont give enough fries.i feel like a little extra aomething is need to compensate forthe long wait time. This was my second time the first time i came in an ordered an waited abot 30 mins for a 2 piece this time iordered for pickup an still waited a long time. First time trying this place (sept '21)The fried chicken is pretty good here. I ordered it lightly seasoned, and I was able to... taste the seasoning plenty fine. This would be the second best chicken place I've tried in Texas so far since moving here. Ithas a home cast iron skillet feel to it. The okra was good as well with a light and crispy batter. I would venture back at alater time to give the catfish, or some other items a try. UPDATED March 1, 2022 I've upgraded to 5 stars, because the chickenis always consistent in flavor and always moist.
