Always order the same pizza but usually downtown. On the way home thought we would try lakeside. NEVER AGAIN!!! Ordered bianco... canadian bacon tomatoe and green olive well done. Ewe white crust definitely underdone! Very sparse everything! Like 4 smallpieces if canadian bacon on the entire pizza. The side of spaghetti sauce was just nasty! That are a complete scam. They make the wrong order and then try and charge you again to remake the pizza you wanted in the... first place. Terrible costumer service. Read more
I grew up watching the dough fly through the air in the window in West Duluth as a youth. I sat in the booth with your own... personal jukebox at the end of the table. All you really needed was a big Sammys sausage pizza a soda and a big smile. Now Ilive by Lake Superior Disappointing as this is to say lakeside Sammy's has forgotten to put the extra cheese on there crew Pizzathe last several times we have ordered. I guess you have to ask for extra cheese on it so they can tell you what comes with itand then maybe they'll put it on there. Dry, No cheese! The box might have had more flavor the last few times. Picked up a small sausage pizza and large one with tomatoes, onions and peppers the moment we got into town for the weekend. I... noticed another order with a salad waiting to be delivered when we arrived. It looked so good, I added a salad to our order. Gotthe vinaigrette dressing to go with it. Pizza and salad were very tasty and just what I was craving after a long drive from thetwin cities. The 4 of us will eat the leftover slices in the morning. Great stop for toasted subs!! They had a variety of items, pizza, pasta, subs, etc... They even have a small cooler with take... and bake pizzas, lasagna, other pastas. Many people came and went while we were eating. Cozy place and very friendly staff!???? Read more
