Reviews for Old Chicago Pizza + Taproom in Duluth, MN
Great place! Even though they forgot to hold off on the green olives still was a great pizza. Big selection of beer. Definitely... worth a stop. Read more
What you would expect. Nice, family friendly pizza place. Good pizza! Lots of seating. We went at peak Saturday night dinner... time. We had great serve. Very busy and food still came out fast. Read more
WARNING! This is not Chicago style pizza! It's funny, they serve it in a deep dish tray and the crust isn't even deep dish. It's... very comical. Although the pizza tastes good, forget this place and go across the street where they sell REAL Chicago stylepizza. Read more
Tasty food, great service. Our server has a badass moustache. 10 out of 10.
Food was excellent. I had the fried pickles with Thai chili sauce and the meat pie old Chicago deep dish pizza. Server was... friendly and attentive. Overall service was a little slow though. Not the servers fault as she was the bar tender, hostess, server and runner. I would recommend if you want to have a beer and some pizza and apps. Place is also kid friendly. Read more
The ambience of this place was odd, it was somewhat run down looking inside, smelled like cleaner ( possibly from a good... cleaning after a rowdy crowd the night before), and our table was slightly sticky. But our server was excellent, the salads werefresh, the dressings were flavorful, and the Chicago deep dish, which I generally dislike, was one of the best pizzas I've everhad (And I live in an area with some of the best pizzerias in the country). I'm not a huge fan of chain restaurants, but thusone was excellent. It was relatively inexpensive as well, which was a nice surprise. Read more
The chicken tortilla soup was hot food after being drenched in rain. The chicken was not flavorful, the chips on top were stale,... the green chili tasted canned. Maybe the soup was from a can. The pepperoni pizza rolls were really good. I guess at a pizzaplace I should stick to pizza! Read more
A group of friends and I visited this place during our staying in Duluth. We absolutely loved the food! The Sicilian Pepperoni... rolls are to die for! All pizzas were really good, including the vegan option. On the other hand, there are not many options ofdrinks, wine, and for beers basically the most common ones. I will definitely revisit for the Pepperoni rolls!!! Read more
