Reviews for Dovetail Cafe & Marketplace in Duluth, MN
Very cool coffeehouse for dine-in and working. Lots of space, very unique layout and there is a gift shop worth perusing. Even... though its a bit south of the main attractions of Duluth, this is still worth a trip as this area tries to reinvigorate itselfto draw more tourists and locals. Read more
Stopped here for breakfast and coffee to start a busy day of Duluth sightseeing and it was amazing! Great atmosphere and cool... decor. I had a maple oat milk latte and my husband had an Americano, both fantastic. I had the veggie quiche and my husband hada bagel breakfast sandwich. The food was incredible, made fresh, and portion sizes are perfect. Both came with side salads, which we loved. Definitely recommend this place! Read more
An aesthetically cute and cozy place to enjoy your breakfast and coffee. The Affogato is strong yet sweet for the amount they... give you. The breakfast food is excellent and great to start out your morning with. We got the Duluth traverse and the Skylineand both were more than enough for our morning breakfast. They come with a side of salad and the salad was great. The employeesare very nice and helpful. There are items in this place to purchase coffee, stickers, gifts, pictures and much more, so we'drecommend walking around and looking at the neat items they have on sale. The bathrooms are very well kept and clean. Parkingis easy but limited. You can parking around the block if you cannot find parking in the street. Overall, an excellent place torelax at after a long day OR an excellent start to a long day to get energized for the day. We came here when Duluth Grill wastoo busy and it was 100% worth it! There?s not ethical consumption under capitalism. Very rarely will I ever utter such words, but $7 for a breve here is? totally... worth it. Gotcha. Nah, it?s a great place. It?s a pretty big space and managed to feel cozy without also feeling cramped. It?s anice blend of exposed brick and cabin vibes all bathed in warm light. The staff is always friendly but never fake or pushy whichis mad appreciated. There?s a cool variety of local made gifts and such, it seems they?ve expanded to house a lot more localcreators. I?ve never had the food but it seems pretty popular. I just come here to sulk in the corner with my delicious roselatte. Worth every penny. Read more

Finding a quick/healthy spot for a family with two young kids to eat on Sat. or Sun. mornings can be tricky. This is our family... favorite. The Nutella baklava is our kids favorite treat in all of Duluth. The lattes are beautiful perfection. Food choices forvegan, gluten free, and vegetarian which is nice for people with dietary restrictions. I have celiac and have never been sickafter eating here. The local art is available for purchase at reasonable prices. We love this gem and felt so happy when itreopened after covid. The staff are top notch and pleasant/helpful. We highly recommend! Chai latte and baked goods are good. My boyfriend got the Mac n cheese and it was very bland. They had a small section of crafts... and goodies to check out. The art is great! There wasn?t much seating and a lot of people were working on computers and talkingvery loud into their headphones. Read more
