Old school coney dogs in a neat atmosphere. Got the dogs fully loaded. Fast, hot and good. Worth the walk up the hill.
Wow, what memories from the 1950's. Looked a lot different inside but my grandfather made the best chili dogs, fries and malted... milks. I would always stop in and ask for a little cash so I could go to the movie at the Lyceum theater. Saturdays at themovies were for all day kid related movies and cartoons and only cost $.09 for admission. There was another Coney Islandlocated a few blocks away called the New Coney Island. Best gyros and fries! Prices are a little higher than other places but well worth it.
Grew up with this place, go back multiple times whenever I visit home. Meat roasting on a spit makes the best gyro I?ve ever... had. French fries cooked fresh, and the best Coneys. My favorite food on earth. Read more
Best Coneys around. Husband loves his loaded coneys and I love their gyros and delicious soup. Oh course you can?t forget the... malts and fries too. Where to begin?. The GYROS! Yes I know it?s named ?Coney Island? yet ALL the Rave for myself is in the Gyros. Made the old... school traditional way. Thee best, flash me back to my childhood days. The cucumber sauce, to the meat, & fresh onions, tomatoescreates an explosion of them buds. There daily soups are fire each one with its own deliciousness! & of course can not forgetthe Coneys.
