Took a while to get our food, but 100% worth the wait-- everything was SOOO GOOD!! Highly recommend the NY Strip and dry rub... wings (wings are on special if you go on Thursday). Steak fries were also good, and the apple vinaigrette salad dressing isamazing. Make sure to get a mug of their root beer, too! We made an online reservation and were seated as soon as we arrived.Our server warned us she was only 5 days into the job, but she was fantastic and we loved her. I loved the beers and the wings I ordered and then I saw the two side dishes, 1 was cauliflower and 1 of broccoli that the lady... next to me ordered and I had order envy. I will definitely try the vegetables next time. Just a huge heaping load of seasonedvegetables that looked great! My beer was fantastic and the wings had a sweet heat to them. We will go back. This is the most mixed I (and my family) have felt about a restaurant. Our drinks were extremely slow coming out. Having worked... as a server, I can acknowledge there was a large group seated not long before us so I try to give some grace to slower foodservice but timely drinks to me are big deal. The garlic boneless wings were FANTASTIC but the Cajun blue burger was"Scandinavian Cajun" aka not spicy or flavorful enough. The Pulled Pork Mac was ranked as good and the Yard Bird was tastyalthough it seemed like the fries at least had been sitting for a little while. A very interesting menu that had a lot of specialty meals on it. Definitely on the higher end of the pricing, and the booths... were not very comfortable. Our server was also the bartender so she didn’t have a chance to really check on us. The fooditself was pretty good. First time visit for us. Very nice looking place with upbeat atmosphere. Our server was attentive and took care of us very well.... Definitely took awhile to get our food (over an hour) but that's not unexpected with the current state of lack of employees. Wedid have reservations for a Saturday night at 5:45 and were seated promptly. I got their 49 oz prime rib (right?!) to splitwith my kid. It was a bit tough and actually hard to cut, however, it was cooked they way I asked and was tasty. I'd expecttheir normal 16 and 12 oz prime would be fantastic. Everyone enjoyed the food we received (other than the root beer which a kidsaid was gross, so an adult tried it and cringed, then 3 other adults tried it and all making a face... We found it to behorrible with a terrible after taste. We really thought they had to have messed up an ingredient or something, it wasn't evenclose to tasty). Service was good, and the food was excellent. Prices were reasonable for the amount of food. I had the bacon and Brussels and a... burger, both of which were wonderful. I also tried some of my friend’s poutine - equally great, but a little salty for mypreference. Also the lamb lollipops - great serving size for lamb and done perfectly. We’ll definitely be coming back! Theone complaint from this visit is that beer just isn’t good. Between two of us, we got flights to try eight different kinds andnot a single one was something I’d order again. Something to keep in mind when thinking about the “brewery” part of theevening. First time going here since they opened and we very impressed with the environment, food and beer. The building is clean and... decorated nicely. Our waitress was wonderful and kind. The trash can Shandy beer was hands down the best beer I have ever had.The parmesan truffle fries as an appetizer was AMAZING, so much Flavor! ???? Our kids got spaghetti and Mac and cheese, whichwere good size portion but was just the pasta no additional side for the kids unfortunately. We shared a Cajun bluecheeseburger with cauliflower and cheese. They tasted great, but could have more Cajun seasoning and was slightly overcooked.The best part of the dinner was taking our waitresses suggestion to try the funnel cake fries dessert.....OMG seriously the bestdessert I have ever had and we will definitely get it everytime. So the Funnel cake and my beer were the best parts of the meal!We will definitely be recommending our friends to come eat here too! Read more
