We were here Saturday night. They weren't too busy. The service was great and the drinks came so fast! Ambience was perfect and... you got to pick where you sit. They had a number of different fun seating areas to choose from whether you were there with a biggroup or if you wanted something more intimate. We got the steak bites that came with fries. Very cool and chic lounge, popular among groups of women from what I witnessed. Comfortable dark lounge setting, above average... service, and many interesting food items that were all delicious. But the best part is their drink menu. The experience doesnot disappoint and it?s fun to explore their creative martini list. Note that many of their drinks are very sweet. Read more
We ate the fondue. It brought me back to my childhood which families made fondue quite frequently in the 1970's. It's only $10... every Wednesday. And they have great drink specials. It was nice to sit next to the fireplace. The ambiance is wonderful. Read more
Very nice lounge with an art deco theme. Perfect to hang with your friends or for a date. Wide selection of drinks and food. I... had the ahi roll, spicy cream cheese crab wontons, smoked salmon and artichoke dip and a Suntory whiskey neat. Everything wassuperb except for the ahi roll. Not saying it was bad but just not as fresh as I am used to (I've lived in California most of mylife, so I'm used to fresher sushi). The server was prompt, friendly and checked up on us regularly. If I could give more stars I would. The ambiance was great. I loved the dim lighting and seating. It made it feel like an... upscale bar. They have a lot of variety of beverages. Martinis, scotch, bourbon, etc. What really topped off our experience wasour server, Claire! She was really attentive and sweet. She was on top of it whenever our water or beverages were low and keptrefilling when needed. She was very personable and kind. I couldn't ask for more. That's what we would expect coming to a placelike this or anywhere for that matter We need more of her! She catered everything we asked for! She was really on the ball andhelped us with recommendations. Would come back just for the experience and ambience. I hope to have her again as a server! We had the cheese fondue - for under $20 it was literally a full meal! The meat was so tender and was served with apples, grapes... and bread - it was so much higher quality fare than the price. One MUST try the Absinthe fountain pour- such a classyexperience- everything about this bar and restaurant is top notch and servers friendly; live jazz music from 6-9 pm which was arelaxing plus! I recently hired Black Water Lounge to cater for a holiday party I hosted and they did an amazing job! We went with the... "charcuterie towers" and our guests loved them! They had great communication and simplified our holiday party by setting up andtaking down the food. Not only was their catering fantastic their lounge is great too! It has an awesome upscale environment. Afew of my favorite items on the menu are their fondue for two, veggie sushi, and the June in January martini!
