If I was just basing my review off of my first experience in March 2022, I would easily give this restaurant 5 stars. My partner... and I came here for brunch, and the food and service were absolutely exceptional. We had an incredible experience, and we told anumber of our friends in Minneapolis about the restaurant. When we left, we couldn’t wait to return for dinner, and we perusedthe dinner menu on our way back to Minneapolis. We drove up to Duluth from Minneapolis this weekend to celebrate ouranniversary, and At Sarah’s Table was at the top of our list to visit. We wanted to have our anniversary dinner here onSaturday evening (tonight), so we made sure to call at 2:30 on Friday to make a reservation for 7 pm. The person on the phoneconfirmed that we were at set for 7 pm on Saturday evening. We arrived at 6:45 on Saturday, and when we approached the host, wewere informed that our reservation wasn’t on the list and that we could wait 45-50 minutes for a table. We gave our name andpromptly left and headed to a local co-op for a dinner of pizza and berry pie. We were really disappointed by this experience,but we won’t let it sour our anniversary. Edit: We loved it so much my partner and I decided to eat here for our anniversary dinner! We even got a reservation for 7:00... over the phone, which we were assured they had. They did not have it when we arrived, but instead offered us a 45-55 minute waitbecause they lost the reservation. I'm beyond frustrated to have my anniversary dinner ruined out of the blue like this. I maynot be returning unfortunately Love the food here! We got the buttermilk pancakes and chorizo biscuits and gravy (worth theextra charge for some amazing eggs). Both of those were so delightful and I ate myself into a coma, all washed down with greatcoffee. Our waiter was so lovely and attentive too! Got a stout chocolate cupcake that was fine but not great. Very good. Came here because Bridgman's wasn't open. Was serendipitous. ASTCCC was fresh and delicious beyond imagination. Came... for Sunday brunch and had no wait despite the business. Ordered a bourbon cocktail with a chorizo breakfast burrito and it wasfulfilling. I would recommend this restaurant to families with children, couples on a brunch date, frat boys getting funky, andculinarians seeking exceptional cuisine in a homestyle atmosphere. Read more
I've and so many people recommend me to come to this place. I've been here four times now in order to something different every... time. truly great options for eating food. and the beverages all of the beverages they're great. and if you're hanging outinside there's tons of reading material to go through. The prices are high, but the food and atmosphere are great! The bottle of wine I purchased was fantastic, and the selection of... books to just read while you are there, or books to purchase are a really nice touch. Would recommend to chill vegetarian/veganswho want a nice environment. Would recommend the breakfast burrito to all my fellow meat eaters. There is something here forjust about everyone! Read more
Really nice breakfast/brunch spot. Lots of unique breakfast options. Slightly pricey but it’s definitely quality ingredients.... The specialty coffee I had off the menu was surprisingly the highlight of the meal! Chorizo biscuits and gravy were pretty good! They have a nice bar area for waiting on a table which is nice especially in the winter, no need to wait outside! Read more
I am happy I gave Sara's Table a second chance! My first experience 6 years ago, was not great. However, today it was near... flawless. The service was outstanding and the waitress (Savannah) was a clear genius in customer interaction. My "two hippiebreakfast" was just plain delicious. Furthermore, my table completely lost track of time and stayed 15 minutes past closing, butthey were gracious enough to not interrupt us and hung out until we were done. We didn't realize we were there past closinguntil we got to our cars and checked the hours after wondering why we were the only ones in there. Thank you Sara's Table. Read more
Service was excellent. Our server, James, was friendly and described the soups du jour with enthusiasm and clear appreciation... for food. I got the corned beef and hash with 2 sunny side up eggs. The eggs were more cooked than I preferred but the dish wasdelicious. I wished I would've had room for the biscuits and gravy too. Next time for sure. Plenty of vegetarian and some veganoptions. The coffee was a really good dark roast. Got a virgin bloody Mary and found it flavorful. Would highly recommend thisplace for brunch! Read more
