Food was great. I had the smothered pork chop with macaroni and cheese and collard greens. Very tasty not overly seasoned. The... porch chop was very tender and the gravy had the perfect consistency, not to thick and not to thin. My one and only negativeabout my meal is the ONE pork chop. It was on the smaller and thin side like I like them, but it was only ONE. This meal costroughly $18 dollars. Pork chops are one of the least expensive meats you can buy. They're cheaper than chicken and catfish. Mywife got 2 nice size catfish fillets with her meal. 2 pork chops should be the standard. I love the food and love supportinglocal businesses. And I understand the tight margins they have to work with. With that being said, I will have to pass on Who'sGot Soul next time and try one of the many other southern eateries in Duluth. Read more

I always usually get a veggie plate and decided to try the (seafood)shrimp and crawfish lobster melt- (I think that?s the right... combo) I know shrimp is in it however - it was so good! Toasty butter bread and fresh seafood oozing with cheese! So so good! Iwent back 2 days later, ordered it again with a side of collard greens and it was delicious again!! This place has tremendouslygreat customer service!! Did I mention that darn lemonade is addicting?? Team peach and mango!! Read more

Quick, Delicious meal overall. Reminded me of a southern family meal from a friend?s family. I would return and try other... dishes, as there are many to choose from, but only if I am in the area. I would not make any Extra efforts to return. DOW-Saturday midday. Establishment- nice and clean. ?? Not too small and not too large. Nice to probably dine in. Low and high topseating inside/outside available, however I opted for take out. Food (to go) - good overall. Large portion sizes of everythingwas a plus! ?? Everything individually tasted good. However, everything is seasoned well, but can be overwhelming while eatingtogether as a meal. Nothing was bland, for sure. Prepared quickly, as everything was visually available behind the counter(clean and organized well). No dessert, but all looked delicious and well portioned in containers (cakes/puddings). I hadSmothered pork chops over bed of rice + topped with brown gravy, yams (soufflé), collard greens, and mac n cheese. Mac n cheesewas borderline too seasoned for my particular taste buds, but not bad at all. Service/Staff - okay overall. Not super welcomingor friendly, but Just enough for my transaction and experience. Upon walking in I faintly heard a mumbled ?welcome to Who?s GotSoul? (I think, but I looked around behind the counter and assumed they were speaking to me) It was my 1st time, so I was sofocused on ordering food, that I failed to order a drink. I was not offered a drink or dessert (which I likely would have addedboth) so a little of the restaurant?s revenue was lost. After paying for the food, I said out loud to the cashier that I?forgot to order a drink?. No response, so I did not even feel compelled to ask for her to create an additional transaction tosatisfy my desire for a drink with my meal. Again, not a compliant, but a friendly suggestion that a slight improvement of thestaff?s service levels, will likely generate a better experience for all who walk into the doors of the est Read more

We knew we wanted soul food while in Georgia, so we decided to stop here. The beef ribs look astonishing, however they had NO... seasoning, super disappointed because I ordered an extra bone, but it will be passed to my dog. The sides were good, we had thesoufflé, macaroni and cheese, and cabbage. The jerk chicken wings were fried (not long enough) with jerk seasoning sprinkled ontop, not really jerk in my opinion. The dessert- red velvet cake and banana pudding were good. The cake looks like it could havebeen sliced again to make 2 slices. The service was mediocre at best, however there was a guy walking by to ask if everythingwas fine. I would probably try a different soul food restaurant before thinking about coming back. Read more

Great food and great service. Loved this location. Bright and modern. I had beef ribs, turmeric rice, with collard greens (not... cooked with meat). My husband had the freshly fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, with cabbage (not cooked with meat). We trulyenjoyed our meal. This is a hidden soul food joint in Gwinnett. The BEST sweet tea EVER! I have been going to this restaurant for years the L'ville location so when this one came to Duluth I was super excited. I... typically order the catfish with yams and mac & cheese add shrimp. Let me say the catfish is always good, the yams at thisrestaurant are very bland and have no flavor but I did notice they switched to souffle. So yesterday I decided to ordersomething different because I am burnt out on fried food. What a mistake I got the turkey wing w/rice, greens and mac & cheeseadd fried shrimp. The turkey skin was soft and batter like, the gravy had zero flavor and leaked into my greens and the wingwasn't even warm. I eate a couple bites of greens which were a lil tangy and my mac & cheese was drowning in grease at thebottom. Sad to say I only finished my peach cobbler. My shrimp were so greasy the skin literally fell off. $25+ wasted and I wasstill hungry not to mention the $1.50 processing fee to order online. I keep trying to give this location my business but thequality is just not here. I am typically not the one to complain but I was so unhappy with my meal. Read more
