I stopped to get breakfast late yesterday morning at the Waffle house on Satellite and Sugarloaf. The waitress and cook were... very rude, mean and cold, when I walked in. One would have thought I had done something wrong to them when I walked in,especially the waitress. I ordered grits, eggs scrambled light and sausage. The grits were cold, eggs were hard and cold and thesausage was luke warm. I made a comment about the meal and was told sometimes it happens. Their behavior was unacceptable. This is where my lady and I sneak away from family on weekend mornings and get our treat of a true "crispy waffle" and hot... coffee. Atlanta has its staples to mention. But, the "house" is one that surpasses the city and represent's the south. You thinkthis city aint 24 hrs? Well, think again when its 3am and you keep passing by the yellow signs. My sister went to this location to grab us a bite to eat. Unfortunately the person that's cooking....CAN'T COOK!!! Everyone's... plate had over cooked food on it. My grandsons waffle was tough, had to cut it with a steak knife, they burned everyoneshashbrowns and my sister's philly Texas cheesesteak wasn't fit for a dog. This place is usually pretty good and I have been here before. Haven?t been here in a while since before pandemic I?m sure and... decided to stop in. 1st off staff was super friendly and took care of me right away. Only a few ppl inside so not too busy. Isaw about 3 to 4 staff which was good and place appeared to be pretty clean. I ordered a waffle and bacon well done crispy. Wellas you may can see from the pictures below. My bacon wasn?t crisp only the edges o it was tough and chewy which i do not like atall and as for my waffle i tried to finish it but it was way too thick and in some parts taste like it wasn?t fully cooked(doughy). I ordered the sirloin and eggs. I told the waitress I wanted my steak medium rare and to have my eggs over medium and a... chocolate chip pecan waffle well my sirloin was well done My eggs were sunnyside and I hate snotty eggs and the chocolate chippecan waffle one side was chocolate chip The other half was pecans.
