We were visiting my parents from New York where we often dine out in fine dining restaurants. We had: - shrimp cocktail -... grilled octopus - tuna tartar - caprese salad - porterhouse dry aged steak (came with grilled asparagus, roasted potatoes, andwedge salad) - creamy mash potatoes - market fish (roasted rainbow trout) - lamb pasta I was surprised to see some of the otherreviews (that were less than 4 stars) here because everything was flavorful and excellent. In my humble opinion, Noona is on parwith many fine dining restaurants with similar or higher price point in New York. The menu was thoughtful and sophisticated.Service attentive. We will for sure return here on our next visit to Georgia. Read more

We had reservations for a party of 6 on a Friday evening. We were seated promptly by a friendly server. We waited very long to... order drinks. Then we waited very long to receive drinks. It wasn’t the servers fault, because she had to go to the bar to getthem and they clearly weren’t ready. They had two bar tenders and didn’t seem very busy. We ordered many appetizers, such asthe octopus, the tuna tartare, and the oysters Rockefeller. It took a while to get them, but they were delicious. Thepresentation was on-point as well. We ordered our entrees at the same time as the appetizers and also waited quite some time toreceive them. We were there for approx 1.5 hours by the time we got the main meal. When there were a few minor slip ups, thewaitress was suddenly very defensive and rude when addressed, even though she clearly made some mistakes. At one point we askedanother server about our drinks (because we hadn’t seen our waitress in a while). We saw the other server talk to her about itand when our waitress returned she was quite rude again and defensive, blaming the bar tender for not making the drinks yet. Itwas a little off-putting. We received the meals and again, everything was beautiful and tasted very good. Overall, we reallyenjoyed the restaurant. My only complaint would be the long waits and the abrasive waitress. We really enjoyed the food here celebrating our anniversary..….all of it. Pork lettuce wraps, shrimp scampi, lobster and even... the house Caesar salad. The tomahawk steak had the perfect amount of salt and well seasoned. Service was great and friendly aswell. Oh I almost forgot about the bread pudding ????. Read more

Excellent service, and excellent food! Though I still maintain that downtown Duluth restaurants are far overpriced for the area... and portion sizes, they consistently put down some amazing flavors and dishes. Noona was no exception, with the duck risotto andkimchi salmon both easily hitting and surpassing the mark! The cocktails are great, too, so don't miss out on a fantastic tasteof downtown Duluth :) Read more

Everything, from the ambiance, to the service, and of course the food, was amazing!!!! I am already planning to go back. The... Asian inspired cuisine is paired wonderfully with a somewhat Western cooking style in a way that translates to blissfulness inyour mouth. Just go already, I cleaned my plates and sent them to the chef. It's a fantastic experience. Read more

Very Average. For what you’re paying, I didn’t find the dishes I ordered to be very flavorful, innovative, or satisfying. ... I also did not find the meat and seafood to be of the best quality or the produce to be as fresh as it should be, granted Ivisited the restaurant on a Sunday night, not their busiest time. Though the service was good, I was rather disappointed in thefood (the small roasted octopus piece had no taste and cost $15) and I would consider the whole experience rather “ho hum.” Read more

There is street parking close by the restaurant as well as more public parking a bit if a walk. This is located across the... street from downtown Duluth park. The area is really cute for a walk after/before eating! The atmosphere is very cozy uponwalking in. We did have a reservation so we’re seated right away. All the staff wore masks but I would say the tablesaren’t very socially distanced given the space is pretty limited inside. Asian medicine: delicious cocktail and pretty strongtoo. I couldn’t really taste the ginger, but could taste the lemon and a hint of the honey. Hearth Grilled Octopus: theflavor was really nice but a bit chewy for my liking. Gochujang Shrimp Scampi: loved it! Very flavorful and good sized shrimps. You can dip the bread into the sauce. Grilled Salmon: the salmon was nicely cooked and paired well with the slightly sourkimchi fried rice. When you eat the parts of the salmon with the chili sauce you can taste a hint of spiciness. Sea bass: meltsin your mouth, lightly seasoned, and paired with Brussel sprouts. Cheesecake: was okay to me, I usually prefer the bottom to bemore crunchy but this one was mushy. Chocolate cake: very rich in flavor. If you like chocolate you will love it! Apple tart:was a nice refresher between the other two more sweet desserts. Comes with a scoop of ice cream. Service was amazing! Superinformative of the menu, great recommendations, and made sure our water was always filled. Would recommend! They are supposedlyknown for their raw oysters. But since we weren’t big raw or oyster eaters we skipped it this time. Read more
