In town for business and decided to give Luciano’s a try. Menu online looked great and it was close to our hotel. Food,... service, and ambiance did not disappoint! Our server Jonathan was excellent, extremely attentive, and friendly. The food wasdelicious! If you’ve never had carpaccio, this is an excellent place to try it. It was unreal and something I will crave. Wefollowed that up with splitting the spaghetti and meatballs with a small Caesar. They happily split the salad and spaghetti forus. When we were trying to decide on a bottle of wine, Jonathan brought us a taste of each. And I cannot skip over thecomplimentary bread. Lovely garlic bread with a dipping sauce that is just amazing! Highly recommend and will visit again whenback in town. Read more

The ambience is beautiful and the food is amazing. I've come here many times with my friends and family, they give off the... impression of fine dinning but there is no dress code for the venue on the website. But the clientele is very up scale andclassy wear. The one day I come to eat not dressed up, and arrive there after the gym. I'm greeted by disgusted faces as I walkin by the hostess and manager Roger; their thoughts of why am I dinning here, is she able to afford the food, judged for the wayI looked. I tell them "my party is of 4 people" I address to the hostess, the manager said " I only see 2" very rudely. ( thatunease comment already made me feel bad but I just brushed it off and continued to the table that was far back away from theother guest). The waiter was very nice to my party but I found that my service took too long and also my food considering weordered before the dinner rush and there wasn't much people in the restaurant at the time we ordered. A total of 45-50 minutesit took for the food to arrive. Also we didn't see our server anymore and another waitress and the bus boy William(who was sosweet and asked us if we wanted dessert and not even a server took care of us better then he did). I felt as if my visit wasrushed for Togo boxes and our checks.Over all my experience was not the best and they do need to work better on not judging theappearance of the guest!! I'm very disappointed!! Read more

Brought DH here for his birthday. This is a very nice restaurant that you wouldn't expect to be at the end of a Kroger shopping... center. The decor and ambience are very upscale and elegant. I recommend making a reservation. Service was pretty good, alittle slow when we were waiting to pay the check and leave. Okay, the main part: the food. We started with a complimentarygarlic bread basket with tomatoes in olive oil and parmesan. It was delicious. Decided to try the Tuscan burrata; the flavorcombination of the grilled bread with burrata, roasted garlic and pickled onions was so good. We also had salad; my Caesar waspretty good, hub's wedge looked better. For mains... I was actually kinda disappointed with my salsiccio rigatoni. The sausagetasted really greasy and the food was very hot in the middle and cool around the edges like it had been microwaved. DH had thespaghetti and meatballs; meatballs were way better than the sausage so we ended up sharing them. We finished by sharing atiramisu; it is definitely a big enough serving for two people. It was good. Overall, I enjoyed the meal but I'm a little sadabout the pasta. Read more

A great upscale Italian restaurant tucked a bit off the beaten path in Duluth. Great food and service. I had the zuppa di... mare, a traditional assortment of seafood in a light tomato sauce served over linguine. Mom ordered the jumbo scallops withpancetta and artichoke hearts also over linguine with lemon butter. Both dishes were excellent. We split the antipasto board, which is definitely big enough to share (we didn't finish it). Dress is casual. They're located too far from us for regularvisits but I'd definitely be willing to go again for special occasions. Read more

A popular Italian spot. We went there after a long trip..bur most people around were here to celebrate a special occasion or... date night and it was pretty busy. There complimentary bread n dip was delicious. We ordered the wedge salad with the lasagna. The salad was good but the lasagna was on the salter side as per our taste. We also ordered an Alfredo pasta which was good.Costed us $ 70 with tip and Read more

Service was excellent. Attentive and great wine recommendations. Drinks were on point. Gin dirty martini was well made and hit... the spot. Vegetarian options: Gnocchi was amazing. We ordered and shared as app. Ordered Spinach Tortellini. Pasta was freshand filling delicious. Very butter heavy aka greasy sauce so be prepared or modify. Would still order again because it wasdivine. Overall little gem in Duluth. Read more

I went into this completely unaware of what Lociano’s Ristorante Italiano was. Since the day it opened I did not know what... this place was and always assumed it was some small restaurant, little did I know it was a massive, well decorated, and wellstaffed place. The items I ordered, while not entirely what I expected, was still amazing and the atmosphere was lovely. Thestaff are fast and friendly and always happy to answer any questions you have. While a bit towards the pricy side (adding shrimpto the Alfredo was $10!!) the quality is worth it. Overall I was not disappointed with the restaurant, just a bit surprised bythe up charges. Read more
