Food was excellent! Had a Caesar salad that was really excellent and the addition of sunflower seeds was a nice touch. The... service was extremely slow but to be fair I think that is the norm these days. There was a mix up with our order but it wasquickly fixed and everyone was extremely nice. I like the ambience and the music. Read more

The service is absolutely amazing. Best dining service in many many years. The beers are ok. They need more variations and... some higher alcohol content beer. The food was really good! Read more

We arrived early on a Friday evening and took a seat immediately. We ordered beer, sours, and meals. The drinks were great. the... food was fresh and had amazing flavor outside of the dessert. My wife had the fried chicken sandwich and I had the GWB burger. Both were great. The only thing that took some getting used to is that everyone is your server (I think we had 4 differentpeople help us with our order during our dinner). For dessert I had the peach and blueberry skillet cake which looked incrediblebut had a little burnt taste to it. It also could have used a little more sugar or ice cream on top would have made it worldsbetter. Overall we had a great experience and will definitely be back! Read more

Definitely recommend! Free parking, easy to walk to. The fried green tomato sandwich was delightful, flavorful, light. I?m very... picky about my FGTs and this one was exceptional. I recommend the black garlic aioli with the fries, it was delicious. The friedchicken sandwich is highly recommended as well. We had flights, my favorite beer was the Digital Comfort, Anna Fantastic wasgreat, too. Great atmosphere, though the service was subpar. I?m highly happy with the food and beer. That?s most important,I?ll definitely be back! Read more

We had to wait a little while to get a table inside, they did have tables available outside immediately, but due to the heat I... wanted air condition. Our waitress was unpatient when I was trying to ask a question about something on the menu. I orderedFried chicken (a chicken sandwich) with fries. I did not enjoy it. The chicken was flat and fried too hard and I didn't enjoythe fries. My SO got the chicken livers and the Chandler's chicken salad sandwich and a beer. He enjoyed everything. We enjoyedthe music they played a lot of songs from the 90's. Read more

I say give this place a try! The service was excellent (servers were friendly, and they knew the menus top to bottom)! The old... fashion was delicious, a tad sweet, and paired well with the rye they use. The inside bar is a sweet setup, and last time I wasthere, they had a DJ for brunch - Nice spot definitely recommend it! Read more

I'm not a beer person but those who are love it. I come for the food. There's an amazing chef who changes the menu with seasons.... Brunch is spectacular and yes, served both Saturday and Sunday. You will delight in the small town feeling as you engage inwalking around town enjoying the sights, sounds and delicious smells everywhere. Read more

All we were gonna do was go to a plant nursery to pick up a few things for the yard, and somehow we found a chili cook off and a... brewery and then ended the day at The Good Word Brewpub. We sat at the bar, because that's what we like to do. We decided tosplit the fried chicken sandwich and a kale salad, and the kitchen sent the dish out already cut in half for us! I mean twoplates and everything. I forgot to take a picture of that. But then me and Kim decided we wanted dessert...she had the chocolatetruffle tort and I had...wait for it...chicken livers! Man I love those things. And the three different sauces on my dessertwere so good. The staff stayed busy, but at no time did we feel like we were being ignored. Oh, we had their hazy IPA, and itwas smooth and delicious, too. Based on our first visit I would say there is nothing wrong with Good Word. Go there when you'rein Duluth. Read more
