Reviews for Chung Ki Wa Korean BBQ in Duluth, GA
This restaurant is not even deserve one star. I had a bad attitude server! She has short hair cut, I think , she is the owner... of that place. All she wants have a lot of tips. Read more
Great traditional Korean food. Quality tasting like being in Korea. Highly recommend! The key on any restaurant is the crowd... at lunch and dinner. Chung Ki Wa is always packed at lunch and dinner. I usually order out and have to wait after the busyhours. Well worth the wait based on the quality of ingredients and taste. Truly authentic, fresh and healthy. Highly, highlyrecommend. Seems like the majority of the negative reviews are about service not quality. My review is based on the quality ofthe food not service as I take out. I have been to almost all of the Korean restaurants in Atlanta. This is the best forquality of taste, authenticity and freshness. I have no affiliation with this restaurant other than being a consistentcustomer. Just my two cents! Read more
The soondae soup was very good and the cold noodle was nice. The service was ok, except it was a bit slow. 4 people having lunch... total 100 bucks a bit pricey side though. Read more
Tasty and authentic Korean food! I really love how they give ?? ?? (raw spicy marinated crab) as a side dish. Service can be... slow but it's worth the wait. They special in soups and stews. A great spot to nurse a hangover. A bit pricey in my opinion butthe soups don't skimp out on the meat. Read more
Best Korean restaurant in Georgia! Gamjatang is the best in all of Atlanta and I like customer service here as well!
The restaurant is located in the Joann Fabric shopping center in the corner by la Madeline. The interior is pretty big and they... have private covid-friendly rooms on the side with screens separating the tables. The menu is a little different than otherKorean restaurants as they specialize in jung-gol (braised main dishes to share) in addition to individual soups and stews. Ourparty ordered the seafood stone bibimbap, soondubu, grilled perch, fish roe stew, and the bibim cold noodles. The restaurantgives a lot of banchan, including soy marinated crab, and it was all delicious. Everyone was very happy with their main dish. Inmy view, the cold noodle was one of the best I had in the area, with the spicy sauce not overwhelmingly sweet and lots ofgarnishes. I can't wait to come back and see what else this restaurant excels in. Read more
We were in Duluth and I was craving for Korean Spicy Cold Noodles (????) and not all Korean restaurants serve this dish. We were... greeted by a sweet Korean lady. We knew the restaurant was getting ready to close in 30 minutes but they didn't rush us. Theladies were very kind and they recommended dishes to us. I had the spicy cold noodles and my fiancé had the spicy stir-friedsquid (??? ??). The lady also severed my dish with a cold broth to add to my dish and they also brought out tasty pickled crabs.I only gave 4 stars because I felt like the dishes were lacking some flavors but I would definitely go back and try their otherdishes.
