My family love Sarku Japan?s Chicken Teriyaki and have been visiting Dallas Mall location very often. Last time, 2 days back, I... noticed very less quantity of chicken and immediately raised my concern. At first, cooks didn?t understand what I was talking.Later lady from cash counter came and said quantity is correct. I asked for manger and she said he is not there and will cometomorrow. She was reluctant to add more quantity. When I said that I am going to call cops as this is cheating she immediatelyoffered me refund. I do not like this behavior. My kids were very hungry and waiting for food. All this incident made themsuffer and had to settle down on food from other shop. One side you are increasing the price and other end reducing thequantity. Absolutely not fair and I do stand against this kind of business tactics. Read more
I feel like this place is a hit or miss. I?ve been there three times now. The first time it was amazing, the last two times not... so much. In my first visit, we had sushi and it was great! I usually love this place, but after having 3 seperate and disappointing experiences a few weeks apart, I'm starting to look for... a new Japanese restaurant. The rice in my bento box was overcooked into sticky mounds, to the point the grains of rice werenteven distinguishable. The chicken was barely browned, and only had the faintest teriyaki flavor. I used to love how the saucefrom the chicken would leak down into the rice and add so much flavor, but now they dont add any overtop the chicken. It tasteslike they only use the tiniest bit to cook the chicken with and then put it on the rice bare. It was dry and I ended up addingthe dressing from the salad just so I could have something to go with it. One of the dumplings I got had no filling at all. I'mnot sure if they make them in the store or if they come from a distributor- and it wouldnt have been an issue if the rest of mymeal was satisfactory- but it was a defintie cherry on top. My sushi was unevenly cut and fell apart when I grabbed it with mychopsticks. They didnt supply soysauce with it unless I asked, on all three occasions. They've also changed suppliers fromKikoman to some cheap brand that uses dye to achieve the dark color and has a very weak, salty flavor. The staff was friendlyexcept for the manager (?), who was treating them poorly and at one point accidentally charged a customer for his free teriyaki,and when the customer asked if he could get a refund, he refused and instead told him the next time he could come in he couldredeem his ticket. I've always had such great meals from Sarku, I hope to see them come back from this. Hopefully it's justdamage control from Covid budgeting but I dont think I'll be eating from their restaurant for a while. Read more
This restaurant is located in food court in Dulles town center mall. It is my favorite one. My loved menu is chicken and shrimp... teriyaki w/ vegetable. The taste is always awesome. The price is cheap. Read more
This lady named Monica is supposedly the Manager of this restaurant in which I bought an order of Chicken Takiyaklo. I also... ordered fried rice and vegetables but she picked up the vegetables that were thrown out, who knows how long they put them in thecontainers, it was almost empty which was what she was going to serve to me and to the customer after me. I asked her not toput the vegetables, to give me something more and she said with no with an attitude that if I did not want not to put them but Iwas not going to give anything more. I told her to give me back the money. I?m disappointed they way she treated me as acustomer, Especially from the manager of the restaurant. They should train their managers to not give horrible customerservice to their customers. Read more
