Been enjoying Dugald chicken chef since we moved here. Always loved the pizza, and the chicken was hit and miss. New owners... took over a few years ago, and it seems like the quality and care has taken a plunge. The last few attempts for chicken orderskept getting worse. Kid decided he wanted fries chicken.for his bday. Ordered typical family meal. Chicken was dark brown,over-cooked and dry. Smelled like old oil, fries were bland and soggy. Gravel taste like it looked. Called to complain asthis was the third time in the last few months with a horrible experience. Owner delivered us a full new order with a pizza. Unfortunately the chicken was no better. Super greasy and still tasted bad. The pizza was good. We may order pizza again,give them another chance, but the chicken I do not recommend. Hope they read review and fix the issues with the oil and chicken. Read more
Worst Chef in Manitoba. Bacon and sausage were awful, water was not drinkable. The service from the lady is the only reason this... place gets 2 stars. Read more
Always friendly, huge portions,great deals on family meals, very fast service and the chicken is always done perfectly. Not to... mention that the gravy is so good I've decided to replace my morning coffee with it. Read more
I have to say I love Chicken Chef but the chicken from the one in Dugald is really good. Great Diner
Popped in for a quick bite to eat (breakfast). Staff were great, and super nice. The food was perfect. Actually, I've never... seen a more perfectly cooked egg before, it was beautiful. Read more
It's getting harder and harder to find a decent Chicken Chef, most are sub par at best, but this one was great! Food was super... quick, heaping portions, and most importantly it tasted amazing. The waitress was friendly and on top of her job. A wonderfulexperience. I wish I didn't live over an hour away to frequent this location more often. Read more
Breakfast special well worth stopping for. Shredded hashbrowns with onion take up half the plate which is good for my morning... hunger. Eggs always how I want them. It is a busy place frequented by local people. Friendly atmosphere. Read more
The service was great and everything was very reasonably priced. Whether I?m going there for breakfast or dinner the food is... always great and I can truly say I?ve enjoyed every one of my meals from this restaurant! Read more
