Amazing little Thai and Sushi restaurant nestled within an old growth forest. The atmosphere is relaxing, yet very modern, and... the staff are attentive and friendly. There is a really nice bar with a wide selection of drinks to choose from. If you chooseto sit outside instead of in the dining area, there is a quaint dining area overlooking a small fountain with gentle waterfallsflowing through several miniature ponds. Outstanding!!!! We called ahead and the hostess gave us the rundown on timing - they do not take reservations and it got BUSY.... But we like to eat dinner early - we went around 5:45 pm on a weeknight and didn\'t have to wait for a table. Even if you DOhave to wait, though, WORTH IT! Good, prompt service and delicious food. You\'ll find something for everyone on the menu here.Cocktails were amazing and I am a big fan of sushi - their specialty rolls were awesome. Spent our last night in Duck dining at this hidden gem. The ambiance is wonderful inside and out; very cool setting in the... wooded area just east of Duck Rd. We shared the steamed pork dumplings, crab wontons and the veggie rolls; they were alldelicious! For a main course I had the pineapple fried rice. This dish was delicious and the presentation was impressive. Thosewith me raved about their green curry and basil fried rice. Can’t wait to go back next time we are in town. Read more
We selected Bangkok Thai Sushi for our last dinner in Duck and we are so glad that we did! Everything that we had was fantastic... and we would highly recommend and order again. The atmosphere was fun, service attentive and the best food that we had while inthe Outer Banks. I’ll also add that it’s some of the best Thai food that I’ve ever eaten. Here on vacation and the one thing I thought of while eating at this fabulous restaurant was authentic. The Thai food tasted... like the \"real thing.\" Great food and wonderful service. Didn’t get a picture of calamari because we ate it too quick. This was a fantastic dinner! Noticed the few reviews and that... they were all recent so assumed they recently opened (they did just a couple months ago), my wife and I wanted to give it a try.So glad we did!\n\nJulissa was our server and mentioned it was her first day, she was great!\n\nHands down the best Crab Rangoonwe have ever had. An excellent restaurant! Returned here multiple times during the week I visited OBX… I really enjoyed the sushi… very fresh... fish…. Great maki rolls… the scallops and tuna were especially good….and the Thai food was great as well…. Spicy meansspicy! I highly recommend and would return. Read more
Just incredibly delicious dishes, so good I want to try everything on the menu. The eggplant appetizer was so tasty we order it... again, and the Catch of the Day in 3 sauces was the best. Then the sushi, PERFECT! The best sushi I\'ve had in a long, longtime! The service was stellar, and will be back on a regular basis to eventually try all their dishes!!! Read more
