The pancakes are the size of large pizzas, my kids loved them. Pictured is the country fried steak meal. I recommend getting the... American fries, my husband ordered those with his meal and I regretted not getting them. It's not a large place so I could seeit getting busy fast, but worth it. Read more

Everything started out strong. Drink order taken fast and came out quick, food order in immediately after. Our server was on top... of the fact the item I wanted was insanely spicy and made sure to ask if I was okay with things hotter than ghost peppers. Theysuggested a different burger that was still spicy but wouldn?t melt my face off. Good idea. Every burger (seriously about 45different burger options) could have a veggie patty or chicken breast to substitute the beef if you desired. I think that?sexcellent. I happen to like a veggie burger, but please keep the bacon on it ????. Our orders came out fast and almost correct. Not a big deal. I asked for regular fries, got sweet potato fries instead. Can?t really complain because they were actually thebest ones I?ve ever had. My mom asked for no side and it still came with the default of potato chips. Oh well. This reviewsounds nice, why three stars? While we were enjoying our food and raving about how good it was, the pest control guy came inand sprayed for bugs less than 20 ft from our table. I get this has to happen and it may not indicate a gross place??.but whilewe?re eating? We were then so focused on him, watching where he sprayed on the floor that we then started seeing how dirty itwas in there. The floor was littered with crushed food and old, crumpled napkins. While taking in the messy floor, we startedto be able to smell the fumes from the spray and then the cook came out front with his messy towel tucked in his belt covered inblood from the burgers and grease from other things. Come on folks?..does this scream, ?Please eat here!? to you? Read more

Really good food. it was a little expensive but you definitely get what you pay for. I will definitely be going back again. And... the staff was very friendly, and they even included the kids instead of just ignoring them and only talking to the adults, makesit a very friendly atmosphere. The only negative I had for it was that it took a while to get the food but considering whateveryone is going through right now definitely not holding it against them. Just ment more drinks and talking Read more

I came across this place because they were picked for the top ten best burgers in Iowa, the annual contest. By the way, our... waiter said that they won 3rd place. This restaurant has dozens of specialty burgers on the menu. We ordered a cheeseburger anda mushroom swiss burger. I figure if they can make a good cheeseburger the rest should be easy. The burgers were both verygood. Nice lean tasty locally sourced meat that was prepared as ordered. Pretzel buns were the bread of choice, although theyseem to have quite a few menu options served on Texas toast. My fries were good, but a little typical. My wife was braver thanme and got the sweet potato fries, and they were outstanding. The store was nice enough. Lots of corrugated tin and blackpaint. Clean and airy with ceiling fans to keep it cool. The seating was spread out so that we had space. Definably not afranchise place, which is a good thing. There were no major negatives during this visit. Good food, friendly waiter, not tooloud, not to hot, just right. The last thing I want to say is that they serve breakfast and dinner too. The menu is way morethan just burgers. I personally intend to return for breakfast soon. Read more
