Start off with nice complimentary bread. I like how they have seasonal menu, but it is a fancy restaurant so the menu is very... vague with what it is, also not too many options. Chicken? Our dinner and experience were fantastic at Brazen. It was our first time and we hope to be back soon. Our server Alycia(sp?)... made the night even better with exceptional service. Cocktail list slim but focused. Overall food was good. Salt use isevident but not distracting. Love the use of oils. Definitely use the bread for dipping in the Asparagus soup. Chocolate mousseis super rich definitely for sharing. Shrimp was great very well balanced plate. The almond anchovie added the perfect amount ofcrunch. Campanella was good. Brazen Open Kitchen is one of our favorite restaurants in Dubuque. From the moment you walk in, everything is on point. The... staff, decor, food and of course cocktails are ???? An excellent meal. We had the sweet potato pancake, the shrimp, salmon, and the creme brulee. I highly recommend the shrimp, as... it was very flavorful. The salmon had a perfect sear without being overcooked. The restaurant provides a complimentary crustybread, but it was very tough and lacked flavor. I think they could do without it. The restaurant itself was a bit noisy, but wewere still able to have a nice conversation without shouting to be heard. The staff was friendly and attentive. I highlyrecommend Brazen for couples, friends, and families. Overall, Brazen was a culinary experience we won't forget, and I lookforward to our next visit. Read more

Had a great experience at Brazen! The food was excellent, you can tell they put a lot of thought into curating their menu, which... changes with the seasons. I had the ribeye with mashed potatoes which was very good. My partner had the fried chicken and thatwas delicious as well, and the portions were very generous for the price. Good cocktails, I ordered the Pomegranate Cosmo andreally enjoyed it! Prices were reasonable and service was great too, our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive.Definitely recommend coming here if you are looking for a nice dinner in Dubuque! Read more
