The most magical western experience. A beautiful respite from the busy world, rich in nature and animals. A great spot for the... whole family to ride, soak, swim and fish. I went to Dubois to meet up with my sisters and we were so fortunate to experience the exquisite dining experience at the Lodge... at 3 Spear Ranch! We tried each of the salads which were all fresh and delicious! The next course was divine?they both had thehalibut and I split my tastebuds between the pan roasted scallops and the boar ravioli. Each bite was wonderful and to top itoff the setting is so cozy with gorgeous views of Dubois in the distance. The wine selections were great and while we didn?tleave room for dessert the offerings looked delish. Did I mention the lovely staff? I spent three wonderful and relaxing days and nights at 3 Spear in early April. The rooms are well appointed with interesting... artifacts and very cozy. The new restaurant is a tour de force. The venue was welcoming; the service was attentive; and thefood, much of it locally sourced, was sublime. Astonishingly for such a remote location, the seafood was less than 18 hoursfrom catch!
