Reviews for 2Z's BBQ in Dubois, WY

I ate there on my stay in Dubois as it was recommended by our hotel. I assume they?re related because, I cannot see how anyone... in good conscience could recommend this place. I had the St. Louis ribs (6 bones) and they were, without exaggeration, theworst ribs I?ve ever eaten. And the BBQ sauce was disgusting. Now, I know every region has their own style of BBQ sauce, butif this represents Wyoming, I?ll stick with St. Louis or Carolina style. Also, they were out of their cornbread, so they weresubstituting a small order of fries. Now, if you?re going to serve fries, you can do a lot better than frozen ?fast food? stylefries. Sadly, they were the best part of the meal. Read more

The ribs were excellent!! Very tender and tasty. The farm raised game sausage was also great. The potato salad also great. ... Nothing that we didn\'t like. Super fast service and very friendly. Read more

Brisket was 50% fat or sinew. No forks. Didn?t tell me this until after they served my food and I went searching. Sides were way... too - $5 fries for a small basket. Read more

Just off the beaten path this is a GREAT BBQ joint!\n\nOur family is on vacation and picked this place for dinner on a whim and... we?re so glad we did! Brisket is AH-MAY-ZING! All beef hot dogs were 10 out of 10 and the pulled pork made us wish we couldnever leave! Our ?side? of fries could have fed our entire family, and their homemade honey butter with their corn bread made mewant to lick my knife.\n\nDon?t miss this place, eat outside at the picnic tables by the river if you can, or inside. Thereisn?t a bad seat in the place. Super clean restaurant and bathrooms & great friendly service! Read more

Made a pit stop @ 2Z?s on the way back from Texas. Funny thing is, this hidden BBQ joint was better BBQ than we had all over the... Lone star State.\n\nThe BBQ (pulled pork, ribs) was so good and all made from scratch but - for me - the sides ( also made fromscratch) were the breakout stars. I could swim in those beans, the coleslaw complimented the pulled pork so well, and thecornbread!!!!!!!\n\nBeyond all that, the staff were so friendly, accommodating, and non-assuming. Some of them have been aroundfor seven generations! This is a must-stop if you?re in the area. Read more
