This place is a hidden gem! Moretti's is our family's favorite restaurant, where we celebrate all of our birthdays, anniversary... and big life events. This is by far the best Italian restaurant in Columbus. . . From the amazing homemade bread to the freshlymade pasta and sauce. Then to end the evening with the best cheesecake ever.... I am always wary of Italian food in the Midwest. Don't let the pics on Google Reviews fool you.. their food looks and tastes... great! Very ample portions with friendly staff. We sat at the bar so I didn't see much of the rest but the feel from there waspretty nice. I'll be sure to make a reservation next time. Read more

We love Moretti's. We live out of state now, but must have dinner there whenever we get back into town. Everything is fresh and... homemade. The pasta melts in your mouth, the butter is amazing and there's little out there comparable in our opinions. We goway back with Moretti's and it has given us so many warm memories of every Friday evening dinner for us when we lived and workedin Columbus. ?? Read more

Before our table even ordered, 2 other tables were complaining about missing salads, unfortunately our table wasn't exempted,... they forgot my nieces spaghetti, everyone was half way through the meal before she got hers. Even though my Traditional Lasagnawas ok, the service needs major improvement before I'll go back. Read more

This is one of my favorite Italian restaurants of all times!!! I especially love the Spinach Lasagna with Spicy Italian Sausage... ? And the Bacon Gorgonzola Salad is a meal in itself. But don?t bother with the Spaghetti or the Pizza? the spaghetti sauce isinvariably bland for my tastes, and so is the pizza, and the crust is usually dry, even when you ask for extra sauce. TheClassic lasagna is good too. The best part is that they have Draft Peroni and Stella Lagers on Tap. Read more

Easily one of, if not the best lasagna I've ever eaten! Huge portions and made with veal! Their tossed salad was delicious as... well, and our server was very attentive and friendly! Will definitely be eating here again the next time I'm in Columbus! Read more

The service was fabulous, food delicious, and restaurant was packed with seemingly mostly regulars, which is always a good sign.... I will start with the only reason to dock a star is that they charge a fee to use credit card (3% I think?). I was lucky to havecash on me that day, but despite the delectable dishes, the extra fee for card will definitely deter me from making a regularvisit. The wedding soup is amazing, albeit a tad on the salty side. It was more like a fresh chicken noodle soup, rather thanthe meatballs and greens that I am accustomed to from a jar or can; I definitely recommend a bowl over the other option of asalad! The kind lady sitting next to us at the bar was not kidding - the red sauce is the best I've ever had! It's chunky, savory, and has a nice little kick of spice to it. If you don't like cheese, lasagna won't be for you ???? My son and I are notfans of the caraway or fennel seeds, which are abundant in their homemade sausage, so just be aware. If we did like them, thenthe sausage is a must try. If you're environmentally conscious, be sure to bring a to go container, because the portions arehuge! We were able to spread it for another lunch and dinner the next day (eggplant Parmigiano and sausage lasagna). Read more

A proven fact: some of the most memorable places to eat are often in the most unexpected locations. ?Moretti?s? is on a simple... sign as part of a strip mall containing a convenience mart, a dive bar, and a (rather wonderful) Indian market among others.Easy to pass by on the insanely busy Sawmill Road. A friend of mine wanted to try this place. I was very reluctant. We had neverbeen there before. We stepped in there, and now it?s a place we?ll never forget. I rarely give five stars to a place butMoretti?s deserves it HANDS DOWN. The appetizers are big enough to be their own meal. The soup is even on point. I tried theItalian Platter with their fresh-made sausage and it was top notch. Warmhearted staff, a hard working owner (Tony), andeverything is made to order from scratch. One of the TOP Italian restaurants I?ve been to in the Midwest. Read more
