Our friends recently recommended we try Grano?s. Small place in a strip mall but don?t let that fool you. Had dinner there... tonight. They started by bringing out hot fresh bread with a tomato ???? sauce for dipping?yummy! I enjoy chicken piccata and Ihave to tell you the chicken was super tender and the flavors were delicious. It was the best chicken piccata I have everhad! My husband enjoyed the Genovese. Portions were generous and we brought some home. Service was very attentive. Upon arrivalwe were asked if we had a reservation. Google attempted unsuccessfully to reserve and I called but got a recording. This wasthe only bummer to our evening. Please... read my original Yelp review from May 2022 below :) do yourself a favor and just try GRANO! Just found this little piece ofheaven next to Target tonight. I took my wife here for a date and we were both mind blown. Best dinner in ages. We both neverfelt so comfortable and cared for. Multiple staff connected in meaningful ways. Service tops even the most expensivesteakhouses. The presentation of the food was over the top. The overall cleanliness, ambiance and taste is impeccable. The saucefor the complimentary fresh baked bread is sweet and rich. The Margherita pizza. Amazing crust! The real wow was the pastaGenovese with 2 day braised beef! Tender and packed with flavor. Pasta cooked to literal perfection. Fresh melty cheese. Ireally need more! Coming back for dessert and bringing friends! Keep up whatever wizardry is going on in this place! Hubby had a 12 hour day full of tests at City of Hope and I wanted to treat him to a special dinner. Hands down the best Italian... food we?ve ever had! But it wasn?t just the food - it was the whole experience..our server Brynn was sweet and attentive,Fabrizio sat down with a map of Italy and showed us all the great spots to visit when we finally get there one day..the ownercame to our table and toasted us..The pinot noir was amazing, the Italian beer was like butter.. so smooth. We started withcalamari, yum! Then we chose handmade pasta with seafood and the chicken parmigiana. And let me just say the potato purée thatcame with it was ridiculously good! Where do they grow these magical potatoes??? Unlike any I?ve ever tasted. I?d go back justfor those! We ended up here after Ren Faire because the Spaghetti Factory was busy. Never again will I go anywhere else after Faire. In... fact, we're going to have to find reasons to make the trek to Duarte so that we can come back. The food is that good. TheFocaccia is amazing. Fresh flat bread, pears, fried cheese, fresh honey - divine. The Lasagna is fantastic. We also had halfportions of the seafood and mushroom risottos - sooooo good! My favorite dish has been lasagna for years, and Grano has now been named the best lasagna I have ever had. The initial bread... display is not only beautifully presented but also delicious, includes bread, pear and honey... We ordered seafood creme soup(forgot the name), lasagna, ravioli, tortolini, pizza, chocolate dessert, tiramisu, Moscato w sage and everything wasdelicious... First time for me but not for the rest of the family... A lot of couples in the smaller tables, but 8 of us sat inthe back area that is kind of sectioned off, I think it can maybe fit a party of 12 or more. They also have outsidesitting The waiter and waitress were perfectionist and on point, the chef/owner also came out to greet us, maybe because theplace was busy but was overloaded and allowed him to come out of the kitchen. You would not think of finding an authentic Italian restaurant hidden in the Duarte Target Center, but let me tell you that this... place is DELICIOUS!! The pizza is a thinner crust which I do enjoy because the cheese tastes fresh and so yummy with fresh basilon top, mmmm! Our party also ordered [vegan] gnocchi with marinara (arrabbiata style if you are brave) and also chicken Alfredo.The chicken Alfredo plate is generous for a "big eater." Chef Landi was so kind as to welcome me the first time I visited topick up my "to go order." We have returned twice as I look for consistency in service and quality ...it is there!! Read more

The most amazing Italian restaurant I have EVER been to. The chef came out to our table to make sure our food was delicious and... his father was in from Italy providing amazing service. I truly felt like I was family! The food I cannot even try to describebecause there are no words that can express the authenticity and flavors.
