I called to order a pizza and was put on "hold", which meant that the phone was left sitting where I could hear the employees... and the patrons talking loudly. The food was AWESOME we had Cheese Bread and 3 different Pizza's . I highly recommen this place. The waiter we had could have... spent a little more time with us but we don't drink. And he spent alot of time at other tables talking to the people thatordered drinks. Read more
The food at Pins was excellent. We ate there several times during our stay on Drummond. Great pizza, excellent Caesar salad and... giant fish sandwiches. If you're on the island, Pins is the place to eat. Read more
Pins is clean and the server was nice. I ordered a shrimp basket. The shrimp was soggy, grease-soaked and had a strange taste.... Grease literally came out when I squeezed one of the shrimp. At that point my appetite had disappeared. My wife ordered ahamburger medium rare and it arrived past well done. The fries were cold and greasy.The server sent over the manager who offeredto adjust the bill after I declined an offer for another item. The 1.60 that was removed from the bill (10 percent of the basketprice) was sort of a finger in my eye after a terrible meal. Read more
Pros and cons of this place: walking distance from the resort and great casual atmosphere however the service is lacking and... the food is single star quality. Ate there twice and experienced the same thing both times. The waitstaff is untrained anunfamiliar with what the kitchen has available. Ordered 2 steaks cooked medium. Received one dried out and very well done andthe other warmed up a little. In the neighborhood of $120 for the two of us. Read more
More 0f a banquet hall than a restaurant, but its clean and new, and the staff was friendly and attentive. They hosted the... Jeeps&Java for Jeep the Mac to Drummond Island and had free coffee and pastries for the drivers, which we felt was very generous(thank you), so we came back after our trail ride for dinner. The food was great, they had a decent selection of beers on tap,we enjoyed the hospitality, there's no reason to skip this place for dinner if you're ending your trail ride at Mu's Revenge,its across the street from the trail head. We stopped in on our last night on Drummond Island and wanted to check out the resort grounds at Drummond Island Resort and... Conference Centre. We saw the Pins and decided to dine here because we casually attired. They had happy hour on a Saturdaywhich was a surprise to us! The menu was limited and we were having fish all weekend and settled on the fish and sub fries foronion rings (a def recommendation because they were out of this world!). We received 4 decent size fish piece (cod) and a niceserving of onion rings. Overall was a great dining experience and the bar?s layout was open with what appears to be a hugeL-shaped bar.
