We went one Sunday around 1:50 pm and waited for over an hour. It closes at 3pm and around that time people just won?t leave for... others to get a table. By the time we sat down, we all couldn?t order a burger because they had run out of food. Just beprepared to have a long wait. Food was good, had my sandwich on gluten free bread. Also had an iced latte as we waited, that wasgood too. Just a really neat place overall. Would highly recommend stopping in to see this historic site! Read more

Do not miss this place!!! First visited here 7 years ago. Glad it's still here and still the same. Amazing service, staff and... food. The pimento burger is one of the best burgers I've ever had. Located in a fully restored historic building, the Draper Mercantile has excellent food, wonderful customer service and an... unpretentious family friendly atmosphere. Their pimento cheese spread is the best I've ever had in a restaurant! On the day ofour visit, there was live acoustic music making for a festive and memorable experience. The adjacent gift shop has a diverse andtasteful assortment or gift and food items to choose from as well. Relaxing on the large front porch after our meal was verynice. Read more

I called to ask if they had a spot for me to camp while on my cross country bicycle trip, Scott was super accommodating,... provided me with top quality treatment, fantastic conversation and more then I could have asked for! Wow!!! We stayed here through Harvest Host and was a delightful surprise. This is exactly the kind of places we enjoy,... peacefulness, beautiful, sunset, and a great breakfast. Cute little town where you can rent bikes and ride along the New trailhead, or you can browse the cute little shops and sip tea on the cute patio of the tea shop. Thanks for a wonderful stay. We used the banquet room at Thee Village Inn for a baby shower. It is elegantly decorated! The food was delicious and kept the... right temperature. The servers were phenomenal and frequently asked if we needed anything. This place is absolutely amazing!!! Read more

Wow, what an awesome surprise hidden a couple of miles off the interstate. Do yourself a favor and stop by for meal. The pimento... cheese burger and fries was a great choice. And yes, it taste as good as it looks. Read more
