Reviews for The Village Inn in Dracut, MA
First time visiting, my first impressions where mediocre in terms of the looks. Definitely a louder place than I anticipated but... I didn?t have any expectations going in before hand. The staff was very friendly and a pleasure to be with. The food is reallywhy I would give this place three stars. I had the chicken sandwich which was definitely more food than expected (2 bigpieces). Which is fine, but the quality was just not good. Had half the sandwich and then threw it out. It was slightly chewyand just tasted old?.I also had the claim chowder which I am a big fan of, but no from here. Like all the other reviews aboutthe claim chowder it was essentially liquidity milk and there was some chewy clams. It wasn?t creamy in the way that I hoped itwould be. Anyways, maybe they had an off night, for me at least, I?ll go again sometime in the future too see if it was justthat night. Read more

Absolutely love this place the food was amazing! Staff was super friendly. They give very big portions, may be a little pricey... for some but worth every penny! The chicken finger dinner is delicious the onion rings are nice and thin! The baked fish is alsopretty good I have never had a meal here I didn?t love perfect for a date night or family dinner. This restaurant has becomeour favorite place to go to because we know the food is so good I tried the broccoli Mac and cheese tonight and I love it, itwas the best Mac and cheese I have ever had highly recommend all to try so darn good! As usual the food was great but once again they ran out of prime rib well before 7pm. Had the Delmonico which was very... enjoyable. I must say my waitress was not on top of her game. I saw her only a few times and often waited for drinks andbread. Because of horrible service, I am dropping the overall grade to 3 stars. Read more
Just ok especially if your not a garlic lover. Pros - lots and lots of clams in the chowder, fries where good, waiter was... attentive, call a head seating was nice and food came out prompt and was correctly cooked. Cons - chowder was more of a milkysoup than creamy chowder with a lot of garlic flavor. Prime rib could have been more tender and also had the same strong garlicflavor. I like to taste my beef, not garlic. Baked seafood dish was fine but nothing special. Just didn't do much for us,didn't live up to the social media hype. Read more

This is a hidden gem. It is a bit old fashioned in terms of the looks but the food and drinks were great! We had marinaded steak... tips and baked scallops which were very tasty. I am usually disappointed as many places offer false advertisement on marinadedsteaks so I was elated. The buttery ritz cracker house breading on the scallops just melted in my mouth. The chicken parm wasdelicious as well as abundant. The drinks were strong but delicious. Definitely recommend this place to everyone. We went duringbrunch and our waiter was very attentive. Our meals were $17-$25 a plate. Read more
