Reviews for Mama's Italian Restaurant in Dracut, MA
The food at Mama's is really good but I was hoping for a nicer atmosphere instead of just hard benches with somewhat tacky... colorful padded backs on booths line throughout. The server I had did admit that he was new but that doesn't change the factthat there were a couple mistakes made through his service likely due to the fact that he was new at serving there. I probablywill plan to go back to Mama's again but this time I likely won't dress up as nicely as I had for my first time there. I thoughtthe atmosphere was going to be that of a nicer more upscale Italian restaurant. I do believe, however, that this establishmentmakes a great place to go for casual more home cooked-style good italian food; that is the reason why I gave it rather than fivestars, if the atmosphere and interior were nicer than I would give it five stars. If you want a more casual restaurantexperience with good Italian food then this would be a great option for you. Read more
Lasagna tasted just like my own homemade! I wish I tried it years ago when it was first recommended, but it's hard to try... Italian food when out and you're a good cook yourself Read more
We wanted somewhere different for supper last night and Mama's restaurant did not disappoint us!! Our server Laura was... amazing!!! We started off with beers???? (It was that kind of day) and we thought root beer.(Who drinks root beer anyways?) Noroot beer so Grandpa Jim had to get Coke. We had the freshest basket of bread and plenty of butters to go along with it while wechatted and caught up. Grandpa Jim wanted Syrian pizza but they did not have that which he swore they did, so he got thebroasted chicken (only white meat,he barked????) and Jojo's. The jojos looked like ole time cruller donuts!! They were huge adelicious!! The Captain got cheese pizza and I got the biggest antipasto salad ever!???? My salad was enough for 3 servings andI'm not even kidding.. it was 12.99 total and loaded. THATS AMORE!!!????????It was loaded with ham and cheese rolls of bites ofdelicousness, thicker, robust pepperoni, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, banana peppers, artichoke, and calmata olive's delish!! Wealso got ex bread so delish!! The prices were very reasonable for the amount of food and we all brought food home except GrandpaJim because... I mistakenly( lol) took his chicken home with me!! lol..l sorry about that Grandpa Jim.(Grandpa Jim did get toride in front seat on way home, while I was in the back with all Hubby's ole' Ford Parts catalogues!!) Be sure to go before thedinner crowd.. When we were leaving, it was standing room only, and people looked like they would leave Anty Maureen and UncleFritz in the car, if they could get a table quicker!! Read more

Great little mom and pop Italian restaurant. Never had a bad meal! I ordered the chicken Verdicchio. Chicken sautéed in a... garlic butter sauce with white wine, mushrooms, artichoke hearts, capers, and sun dried tomatoes served over linguine but Iswitched the linguine for ziti. It?s a little easier to eat! Read more
Been coming here for over a decade. Cannot beat the chicken broccoli ziti ?? Always good service, could use a bit more variety... but what they have is excellent. Prices are reasonable and I always end up bringing some home as portions are enormous. Greatfor a date or to bring your whole family Read more
