Ordered to go. Brisket fries, a side of mac and cheese, churros, and tres leche cake. At first we tried to order the spicy... carnita mac and cheese and banana pudding that we saw on the on line menu but we got a call back they were confused by the orderand ask what menu we were ordering from and we said the one online. The man informed us that it was an old menu from 2020 andthat they didn't have banana pudding or the spicy carnitas mac and cheese so we switched out a dessert and just ordered a sideof mac and cheese. When we got the the staff was mostly kind the atmosphere wasn't what I expected from a place that sellsMexican food but it was still nice. Our order was not exactly correct but they fixed it so that was fine too. The brisket frieswere the best thing we ordered, the fries were a bit soft by the time we stared eating them just two minutes after leaving butthat's too be expected with take out but the flavor was honestly delicious. The mac and cheese was honestly the worst it wasbland, not cheesy, and was a bit gritty. The churros were nothing special they gave us 2 instead of 3 like the menu said butmaybe that is also something that's not right about the menu we saw and the tres leche cake was ok. I'll probably go back tohave anything with that brisket and queso though so I'll try again another time but probably skip dessert. We had a great overall experience here. The decor inside and outside the building is awesome! There are projectors inside with... one showing a sport game. One wasn't on at the time. There is a bar inside that has a noticeable fancy cappuccino machine.Inside there are two tables with semi-private rooms that are away from the open tables in the middle of the main room. Theoutside is what made us want to try eating here since we saw it as we drove by. It's a really nicely decorated area with nicelighting at night with a grassy section that's well maintained. The service was great with being able to wait for specifictables. There is a nice waiting area with a homey fireplace-look setup. The food and drinks that we ordered were great too. Ipersonally had tacos that were very flavorful. The churros that we ordered were a bit too dry though. They were possiblyovercooked or were initially stale. We stopped in as a group for happy hour and assumed the happy hour menu would be small, so we ordered double of everything -... whoa were we in for a surprise. The happy hour is GENEROUS and you really only need to order a few things for the family. Wetook away 5-6 boxes of leftovers. Everything heated up well the next day. We also ordered a few tacos and they were fantastic.The margaritas are lovingly made by our favorite bartender, Emily (she makes non-alcoholic drinks too). The ambiance is greattoo; we loved it. We can't wait to go back! *Took off one star because the ceiling fans had 3 inches of dust and crud on top ofthem and obviously hadn't been cleaned for a very long time...please clean those? :) Read more
