Why? I live 3 houses away from my Steak n Shake. I want them to be good, I need them to be good! But time and time again, raw... hamburger is not acceptable. COOK THE MEAT, and maybe u won't go bankrupt. Raw hamburger is not cool, why do you serve it to me? Read more
The food here is decent and the employees are friendly! That being said, it's dangerous just to come here! There are Giant... potholes EVERYWHERE. It's litterally not safe for your car to come through the drive thru. And if the outside is this bad, itmakes me question the integrity of the inside and it's standards. Even the sidewalk to walk in had Giant curb-ins! This placehas been going downhill for years... won't be coming back. Years ago this place was great. I don't know what happened. Read more
What a change from the old days of actual plates and waiters. The front end is all automatic, no cash. It is All touch screen... kiosk. The food was semi warm and like high school cafeteria food. Honestly it was such an extreme difference from theirhaydays. The chili was thick and paste like. Fries were luckwarm and dried. The interior was stark and cold and dirty. This is the first time going to Streak N Shake. Ordered a double cheeseburger with a vanilla/strawberry shake. The burger was... very good and nicely seasoned. The two flavored shake was super yummy. Service was quick and food was served fast. Our serverwas super friendly and fast considering he was working the dining room by himself. He was so good, I left him a 100% tip. Willbe going back soon to try some of the other different flavored shakes. Read more
My grandmother and I came from out of state due to an appointment I had. We didn't think they were open at first, but since it... was just shortly after 10 I think that is why it just seemed that way. When we entered we were greeted by one of the workers,and he let us know that we could see him instead of using the tablets for ordering which was nice. My grandma ordered theoriginal sandwich (I think here it's called the steak burger?) and she wanted ketchup onion and pickle on it and it was rang upthat way and ended up coming out plain. The shakes and food though were pretty good none the less. The floors however when wewalked in, were VERY sticky. I don't know if someone is using the same mop that they are using for the back or if the cleanerjust isn't strong enough but they were VERY VERY sticky. Meals were kind of pricier than what we remembered, but also both ofus hadn't been to a steak and shake in a while (considering all the one's near us closed). Overall though it wasn't a badexperience. But I can't see rating any higher than a 3 star due to mistake in food, and the sticky floors. Read more
