Staff not very friendly , was ask if i had reservation , which I din't was told Friday - Sat- Sunday should make Reservation ,... which was not busy at all. put my order in , people came in way after we did and was served before we had are dinner at table,I guess we felt that since we dint put a reservation we would have to wait, very rude . My girlfriend and I visited for late lunch. The perch dinner and caesar salad were amazing. Large chunky fries and perch very... lightly battered and fried, dry. Not greasy at all. I was craving fried fish and was so happy the entire meal was excellent. Read more
Food was good, staff reasonably friendly.
We went down to the bass tournament from Sarnia last Saturday and had breakfast at Parkside which wasn't bad. On leaving... Mitchell's Bay to return home we ordered 2 fish and chip dinners to go. After asking, we were told that the fish was pollockinstead of haddock. With some misgivings we went ahead with the order anyway specifically requesting light batter. Big mistake!When we got home we found that the smallish fish portions were comprised of mostly batter. The so-called fish seemed to havedone a disappearing act. The soggy fries were nothing to write home about either but to be fair the small tub of cold slawwasn't bad. However, if we had stayed in the area we would have returned the order to get our money ($30+) back as this was atotal rip off. Read more
Fantastic family owned restaurant with attentive servers, great food portions and good food.
