Came to hear live music and eat good food. Actually, lost my hearing and ate elementary school cafeteria food? Heard rave... reviews about this place up and down the river, so we set out on a 2 hr boat ride with a destination of this spot. The music isjust tooooo loud (we are no stranger to live music & love a good venue). The food which we heard was ?great?was just standardfood service chicken tenders and burgers (probably from Sysco or comparative). Nothing seemed homemade or special to thisrestaurant even tho it was advertised as so. I had a particular funky chili nachos that were just off putting. We decided afterwe left (which was promptly after throwing the towels in on our lackluster meals) the music was intentionally loud because thenyou couldn?t talk about how bad the food is. We had an awesome day sitting on the dock at an umbrella table. Didn't know of this place until our friend's band was booked... here, we always support our friends, was not disappointed. Great atmosphere, food, drinks and of course the entertainment. Level77 is booked there again for August 6, 22, will be back for another great show!! Read more
Great place in the perfect spot to get away from anything resembling work (unless you're a bartender at a tiki bar) with down to... earth staff, good food and just the right kind of drinks. Literally on the water without the seasickness, you can pull up to thedock on kayak, pontoon or any other boat or park your truck, hitch your horse and walk across the plank and enjoy anafternoon. Without trying, I was able to forget that I was on a lake in TN and felt like I was back on vacation in Floridawithout the jacked up prices. Probably not the first time many of you have heard this, but it's bigger than it looks and theylive up to it. If my birthday weren't in December, I'd want my birthday party to happen here. I can't wait to go back! If youlike live music, they have their schedule posted and a large area to enjoy it. If you don't like live music, they have plenty ofopportunities for you to avoid it and enjoy a relaxing drink and lunch. Definitely worth going. Saw the sign for this place off the highway and decided it looked like a fun place to stop. It?s tucked a little back if you are... driving but completely worth it! The owner, Mike, and the staff are very friendly and made great suggestions for food anddrink. Even welcomed our dog with a Corona bucket full of ice water. Support local! They are crazy busy on weekends and havelive music and if you feel like a challenge you can park bring your RV in and stay at Camp Fat Daddy. (They suggest 40 and underrigs but be sure you are comfortable with a tight bridge and turn) Read more
We love Fat Daddy?s! They have Good food, a Gift Shop that has new items every time we stop by. Bands every Saturday & Sunday. ... A Splash pad, corn hole & bring your quarters for the turtle food to keep the whole family entertained, they are open 7 days aweek & the vibe is Happy!! Nice environment. Kitchen got overwhelmed and people waited an hour or more for food. I didn't attempt to order any food because... of the issues people were having around us. Music was good. Nice day, very pet friendly which was nice. Read more
