I don't normally eat at Waffle House, but I was in the area and wanted a sit down meal. The prices are affordable and the food... was decent. This location is fairly normal as Waffle House?s go. Usually the service is pretty decent and food is good. Today irked me. Our... waitress saw my group of 3 sit at the high top, and she threw a small fit for whatever reason - threw a rag at the dish area andmean mugged for a bit. Alright, whatever. She comes up to us, tries to wipe the counter but can?t (her words??) so my husbanddoes it for her, she talks the pleasantries, and then starts complaining about her life. Fine, she needs to vent. Then she takesour order, gives it to the cooks?we get our food before our drinks, which I have to request when our food is served, we remindher of our drink order, and when she brings them we have to say it again. Ok, she?s got a lot on her mind. Other than the hairon the first waffle which was remade to barely cooked, the food was delicious, and I go to pay.
