Wife and I are originally from NY - since moving to Del., miss a good Bagel, good Chinese food, and pizza. We have found... acceptable pizza, no decent bagel, and this food isn't up to NY (or North NJ or Philly) standards, but it IS the best so farwe've found in Delaware. It is good, and we now go there when we crave Chinese food, and are pleased. Butterfly Shrimp w/Baconis a real treat. Excellent sauce. The split shrimp covered in bacon are on a bed of very tasty sliced vegetables (Carrots,beans, Bok Choi). Not cheap, but worth it - a real treat. Sesame Chicken - generous amount of tasty chicken and good fried rice- they offer a choice of white meat chicken or dark meat chicken (I love the dark). The Egg Foo Young has an unusual sauce, notas good as what we know, but not bad, either. Fried rice was done right, unlike other 'Chinese' food places we've tried herethat have a tasteless yellow rice. Egg rolls were fine. Even our kids, spoiled by good Chinese food, are pleased with this foodwhen they come to visit, and they are not shy to complain. Read more
I?ve been going to this restaurant for years?I keep coming back because the food is just OK. I called and placed an order, when... I arrived I ask how much and was told my total was $15.00? I confirmed it was $15.00 put my card in the card reader and was thentold my card declined. They then asked for my card went to another machine and I was told declined again. I said thatsimpossible the moneys there? I think logged into my bank account and it showed a Happy Fortune purchase transaction? I showedthe merchant my phone showing the transaction went thru (she?s always very rude, I don?t think she likes black people) and sheclaimed something?s wrong with my bank. So, now they have my money and I have no food?.smh? terrible business. I called mybank and they confirmed the first transaction went thru and is pending and the second transaction declined?i now have to disputethis transaction?ruined my night and Dinner!!! Absolutely the Best Chinese Food in Kent County! The Egg Drop soup is great , the crispy noodles are way better than any other... place. Every thing my family has ever tried was Above and beyond ! We recommend Egg Foo Young , Pork and Green Beans, Vegetable Dumplings, Shrimp Spring Rolls and the healthy Brown Rice ! Also the Best Sweet and Sour Shrimp ???? EVER !!!! Read more
