Reviews for Capriotti's Sandwich Shop in Dover, DE
The first time I ordered from this location. I ordered the $20 Bobbie which had a lot of stuffing and cranberries but light on... the Turkey. Next time I will stop at the Bear location and get it made like I?m use to get it. Read more
I'm from out of town and came across this place. I tried it and didn't care for it. The turkey was really dry...more like a tuna... fish texture. It wasn't the worst but not good enough to try again. The brownie was pretty delicious though. Read more
I was doordashing and had a woman try to lure me after I went to the location with an extra few bucks. I was up in New Castle,... DE, which is a total change from lower, slower DE. Luckily I caught on. Her order was raw turkey salad. I mean NOTHING. No mayono salt, pepper, NOTHING. I got lucky. It was scary as hell and I got home, 59+ miles away. No more new castle or Capriotti?s forme either. The customer has me drive 15+ miles out of my zone. Just EXHAUSTING! Read more
any shop can post a sub menu but what you create is a step above the rest, truly artistic. the combinations sound unusual but... taste AMAZING. with so many choices to eat at, I will drive a little further to choose Capriottis. Never disappointed. Read more
Phenomenal sandwiches. Had the cheese steak and others had cold cuts. All were very good and we would definitely go back again.
Being new to this area, I decided to check out Capriotti's based on reviews and that it's close to my house. It's a no frills... sandwich shop. I ordered their signature Capastrami, made with an ample amount of pastrami. It has Cole slaw and Russiandressing. It was a different take on a Rachel and really delicious. They also have a nice selection of chips and bottled drinks. The service was good as well, considering they have a sign saying they're short handed. If you're looking for a good sandwichin the Dover area, check them out. Read more
This is my first time ordering from this location and most likely my last. My Bobbie sandwich was mostly the thick bread and... what appears to be scraping of what was left. The sandwich was very flat as it barely had the ingredients to fill it up. Becauseof the lack of ingredients, it didn't taste like the famous Bobbie at all. I would stick to the location by Christiana hospitalas they know how to make a sandwich. Read more
I went to Capriotti's last week for an Italian sub. At first I thought, "Wow, they haven't changed the price". But what you get... now for $6.95 is basically half of the former small sandwich for the same price. I was still hungry after finishing it and wentto Arby's for another meal. I'm done with Capriotti's. Read more
