As a Douglasville native, this is my go-to restaurant when it comes to Mexican food; never had a bad experience here and the... food is great! I used to dine in every time I came here, but started to order carry-outs, lately, since it was more convenientfor me. I always get the chicken fajita nachos and I was perplexed about the lack of nachos or cheese, when I ordered mycarry-out the first time, and soon realized they were at the bottom - no big deal. I just place a plate on top of the dish,flipped it over, and scrapped the nachos and cheese onto the rest of the food. Read more

This was my first time at Monterrey's and we went for my 3 year anniversary at work for lunch. Our waitress was really sweet,... everything was out promptly and the food was delicious. I love tex-mex food, it is my favorite go-to, and I seriously think thismight be my new favorite place to go. The salsa is great, it's got a hint of spice, and the queso was great! Those two thingsare very important and then when my food came out, it was like I was eating with my nose. It smelt SO good and tasted just likeit smelt! ???? I will definately be going back. Yeah nooo. I?m good going forward with this restaurant I won?t be back. I ordered two full orders of chicken and cheese nachos.... As you can see in my first few pics I can?t find the cheese??? So I went back to let them know and the guy explains they portionthe cheese to fit the orders and the cheese is sitting at the bottom. So I explained well they must have missed adding cheese tothis order??? These nachos are dry. There?s something at the bottom but surely was not portioned for a full order. Then he saidI can purchase more cheese. Smh. I tipped when I originally purchased and regretted it after hearing that. I started to sayapply that tip towards this order of cheese. I purchased the side of cheese and added it to the top of the order as you see inmy last pics. Smh. I don?t like when my food isn?t right. Something as easy as this should not have been messed up.
