This Zaxby's used to be one of the best in town, but the quality of this place is now actually a solid half star. Two weeks ago... my wife and I stopped in for takeout, when we received our food the wings were cold and sauce was minimal at best. When I calledthey claimed they wanted to fix it and they would put my name in a book, but I had to give them a date on which I would returnand they would replace my food. Today I called because this is the date I gave them to return. When I called at first they toldme I had already gotten my meals replaced today to which I told them I had not even been in for them yet. Reluctantly theyreplaced my meals and as a gesture of good faith I purchased an order of fried pickles. However my disappointment grew once Igot home with my food. Normally there is enough sauce in our trays that the wings are swimming in it and I have plenty leftover for dipping my bread and fries or even my tenders ( I usually get the wings n things plate with tongue torch sauce. ) Thistime however my sauce was even less than minimal, I had to slide my wings around in the container pocket to even get a taste ofsauce on them, I realize times are tough and money is tight but that should not be reason enough to cut way back on what ismaking your money. My fries were cold and once again there was next to none of the seasoning they use on them. I could barelytaste salt and had only a hint of the rest of the fry seasoning. Why would you blow your second chance to keep a customerreturning. Momma always said not to look a gift horse in the mouth but at least give me reason to return and put forth someeffort when you get a second chance. Zaxby's in Dothan on Montgomery highway, y'all got to do better. 20 minutes for a single order of fries. I've been a fry cook... before. It takes LITERALLY 3 to 5 minutes to drop fries, cook them and serve them. 20 minutes. Then watched the cooks juststanding around while lobby is full and line is long. Even drive thru ppl were pulling out bc it was taking so long. Y'all gotto do better. And when I say something to the cashier, rather nicely, she turned her back on me. That's why she got embarrassedin front of people. I'm not gonna sit there and be ignored when you're literal job is in customer service. Food good ... no condiments and we were told they were in the bag. Didn't want to hold up line looking so just pulled off and... was very disappointed. Had nothing to wipe hands and mouth with when we were done with our meal. Read more

I usually have a decent experience at this location; however, today was awful. I ordered online waited 10minutes over the... suggested wait time to walk inside and pick up my online order. When I get in the store everyone is looking crazy when I showthem my confirmation number. One employee said the system was down and they hadn't recieved the online order. (My money wastaken from my account and the confirmation code says otherwise.) No worries. I waited an additional 20minutes for a grilledcheese kids meal to be made. That's the only thing I order. After 25 minutes I asked how much longer. The employee turned redand said sorry (she forgot to even start my order) if I wanted to wait almost an hour for a grilled cheese I would have justwaited in line. I'm beyond iritated. Ate there earlier, figuring it would be as good as the Top Chick place in town, however, one thing ruined it for me. Before... receiving my meal I went to the bathroom to wash my hands, and found a store bought soap dispenser (for public use) forcustomers to wash your hands by the sink, but EMPTY. A VERY BAD SIGN. I told the young lady at the counter about it when Ipicked up my food, and not much response. Something like that, you should take immediate action, not blow someone off, &/orforget about it. As a health care Professional myself, I take that seriously - so, did the employees wash their hands this AM,& use the rest of the soap, or just wash their hands in the Kitchen? Lots of E. Coli cases going around, and it may not just bethe Lettuce. Anyway, I was hungry and ate the food, & thanking God too, that it was HOT, not cold. I may contact the healthdepartment next week. By the way, I went back to the bathroom after eating, popped open the door and noticed that the cheapsoap dispenser was not filled up - why is there not a large soap dispenser nearby on the wall that should be full??? This Zaxby's location is not a representation of the brand, nor does it live up to sanitary standards or OSHA regulations. It is... in dire need of management and a top-to-bottom scrubbing. The place was disgusting and there was not a single table that was notcovered in food or debris. It was so bad that we had to go back out to our vehicle, get wet wipes and clean a table ourselvesjust so we could sit. See the two photos -Literally the entire dining area looked like this. Additionally, we had to go tellthe employees to start cleaning, to which one of them did comply by grabbing some cleaning supplies and started cleaning. Thefood was OK but if theres no standards in the dining room, I do not want to think about their kitchen and how they handle myfood.
