Stayed over a weekend, expected a normal campsite. Ended up falling in love with a farmer girl whilst bathing in a hot tub under... the full moon. Amazing food, amazing people, amazing place, 10/10 would recommend to everyone in the world Read more

Liked: My boyfriend and I stayed at D Acres farm on night. It was a remote location. We arrived on motorcycles and camped... overnight on one of the platforms. The farm was very unique from anything we were used to. Self sustaining with lush groundswith all sorts of flowers, grapes, all types of herbs, fruit, plants but also quite interesting and impressive. Very peacefulgrounds with lots of art sculptures,. Lots of mountain biking trails and hiking trails, a very interesting fire pit area, andshared Indoor common area/ kitchen . It was a great experience with Love, peace and happiness toward all Disliked: Onlystayed one night and didn't get to explore or utilize the grounds as much as I would like. Read more

I'll be singing their praises to all that will listen. My husband, toddler, and I spent the weekend at D Acres. We didn't get to... check out the property as much as we would have liked but what we did experience was amazing. Josh was helpful and attentive. The property smells amazing; it's covered in wild flowers. "Amazing" ctually doesn't really do it justice. Our camp was near theprotapotty and outhouse but you would never have known. The sites are clean and level. Ours had a large platform and an amazingmountain view. There are water features and a community fire but sadly we didn't get out to them. Read more

Car camped here on first night of a multi-day tour of New Hampshire, after a long drive from my home state. What a welcome... respite! Everyone was welcoming and helpful. Communal area in main building was comfortable and kitchen privileges were a nicebonus. Shaded camp site was within earshot of a creek, and gentle water sounds were all the noise I heard all night. No lightpollution around either! D Acres has a variety of places to stay in addition to campsites and other activities like yoga, communal campfire, & educational activities that my schedule didn't allow for this time. I hope to get back for a longer staysometime! Read more

Attended the 5th Annual Acorn Festival and had a great time. A very unique farm setting that promotes the permaculture... lifestyle in it's program presentations. Also has many trails for biking/hiking and if the kitchen is open, take a chance withsome of the chef's creative menu. Read more

What a great place! I stayed in the Yoga room for one night with my 10 year old daughter as we were hiking in the area. We did... Saturday night dinner, and Sunday breakfast, and stayed in the Yoga room on cots that we brought. The food was delicious for bothmeals. My daughter has a GREAT time exploring the farm, seeing animals, and the campfire at night. Farmer Rich was very niceand showed us around. At the campfire that night he played his guitar, and he is very talented! As for the Yoga room it wasjust a big carpeted room that accomodates a bunch of people in bedding that they bring. Very reasonable fee of $20/pp per night. There were approximately 12 other people in the room, everyone was very considerate, quiet, and clean. I really have nothingnegative to say! Really fun and special place. They only slight sticking point for our stay is that my daughter is a littlepicky about food sometimes. She has not developed a palate for some of the things that they served, so if you have kids that arepicky eaters you might want to have some back up food or snacks. I did notice that most of the kids there really enjoyed thefood. We will definitely be back! Read more

We had an amazing time and Josh and the rest of the D acres crew and family could not be more hospitable and friendly. It felt... like rolling up to a distant relatives farm and immediately being welcomed in with open arms. The land is beautiful, the farmand food are top notch, and the people are amazing. Great place to stay especially if you want to bike at Greenwoodlands or abreak from the corporate norm. The quirkiness and character really shine through with D acres and the positiveenergy. ...However if you are a negative person or hate fun definitely don't go, Oreo will find you and snort at you. This place is fantastic, Josh (the owner) couldn't have been a more generous and hardworking host. The entire staff worked... really hard to make my experience pleasant - interacting incredibly well with all of the guests, serving me farm fresh food andleading me through all of the activities offered. Several of the people I met were either 1) Return visitors who enjoyed theirstay and come back frequently or 2) Extended their stay because the farm was so beautiful. I could not recommend a visit morewith rooms as affordable as the Yoga Room ($20) to more intimate private rooms. Will be coming back for sure as its only a 2hour drive from Boston! Read more
