This place brings me back to the time when I was in Guatemala! So many memories with the authentic foods. The food prices are... good. I enjoy my dine-in here. Read more

Writing this review saddens me. I love this restaurant and found comfort in a consistently amazing restaurant serving food from... my home of Central America with unquestionable flavor, love, and authenticity. A recent clerical error has stained thereputation of this restaurant in my eyes. I dined in the restaurant with 4 of my friends late at night and then ordered bread togo, with our total cost equaling $92. A week later, the cost shows up on my bank statement totaling $198. This is an over $100price increase on the part of the cashier who rang us up, and is clearly not a small mistake or slip of the hand. When I calledto try and resolve what I believed to be an innocent mistake, I was hung up on twice by the cashier . It appears as if therestaurant or worker does not want to take accountability for this mistake, but this is beyond excusable. I will not return tothis restaurant again. Xelapan, do better. Please. Opens at 6:30am for the campesinos ( #respect ) I ordered the Chapin... breakfast, scrambled eggs, black beans, rice, plantains, side of cream and cheese, and 3 homemade tortillas. ???? CASH TIP ifyou can. Oh and I got the cappuccino and told her to put the restaurant name on it for this post!! Read more

First time eating here. I got the pechuga a la plancha which was delicious (seasoned grilled chicken breast with rice, blended... beans, salad and tortillas). It was too late to take a picture, I was already half way done. The cappuccino was really good andit was a decent size. Read more

This panaderia is an amazing spot for some authentic guatemalan cuisine. The tamales which are very different than Mexican... tamales were varied and delicious. Also the platanos fritos which included plantains beans cotija and crema was a wonderfulbite. The cost is very affordable and the staff were wonderful. I will suggest you may want to brush up on your spanglish but incase you're not the most fluent (me) they are more than helpful to help you figure out what you're asking for. Read more
