I was craving hot pot that day and found this place. The hot pot flavor tastes just like when I had it in Taiwan! Authentic and... flavorful. I strongly recommend giving it a try if you are a hot pot fan! Read more
One of my favorite restaurants in the area! I've come many times, and we always order the cheese milk pot and stinky tofu pot.... The add ins to each of the hot pots are great, and the broth is always hot and delicious. There is a large LED screen on theroof that cycles through differing serene sceneries that creates a nice atmosphere to the dining experience. Read more
I had the Kawawa Ramen and my sister had the Tonkatsu Ramen. Both were amazing for completely different reasons. It was a first... time for both of us to eat real Ramen. The Kawawa broth was delightfully spicy, the kimchi and bamboo were good, the pork bellywas great, and the eggs were perfect!!! The Tonkatsu was like a familiar and comforting chicken noodle soup on steroids. Theseaweed and sesame was a new combination, but was delicious, as was the bamboo, pork belly, and egg! We received excellent andquick service, and quality of the food was incomparable. The atmosphere was relaxed and soothing, and the restrooms were cleanand smelled nice. TL;DR - Worth a try. I hope you don?t get dizzy with TV monitors on the side and on the restaurant's top. You order your pot.... Check my pictures for all the options! You get various levels of spicy for your pot. Each pot comes with a bowl of rice. Add-onwill be extra. There is a page full of items for you to choose from. We order two side dishes and one pot. That was enough forboth of us. If you plan to visit for your first time and order dishes, I recommend ordering one pot for two people. Octopussalad is filled with sauce, but the sauce is not overwhelmingly strong. With the cold texture, the salad is very refreshing. Weordered the Thai Spicy and Sour pot. I?m glad we ordered it with medium spicy. The spicy didn?t cover the sourness of thesoup. My biggest complaint about this place is the TVs mounted on the roof directly above your head. I really don?t like the ceiling because it?s not a constant graphic. It?s a video that changes in color, scenery, etc so it gets... very bright and dark often and it can be disorienting. They were mussels in my broth so the bits of shell chipped off and feltvery hard on the tooth. The food was fine and the atmosphere is fine too. Our table wasn?t cleaned properly as the condimentshad dried sauce on them. They also had a automated robot thing that brought the rice, I didn?t want to touch the screen to sendit back cause it was dirty. Read more
