Stopped here for breakfast after getting off a cruise. My friends, wife and I were excited by the menu that included alot of... great keto friendly options! We were sad that they had tuna dishes on the menu that they didn't have available at the time, butoverall the food was great, once we figured out what we were actually getting. The drinks were refreshing and fresh. I had adouble espresso and it was satisfying! My food, the ultimate sandwich, was really good. BEST PLACE FOR SMALL EVENTS! We hosted a baby shower at Pure Joy and the staff was awesome. From the owner to the waitress, the... service has been extremely good. They created a customized menu, provided us with a decoration, flowers, Cellphone standing, andmore. It was a really nice experience. They were also very open to accommodate very little request. This establishment is colorful & has an airy feel. The place has a lengthy & narrow foot print. The colors, the colors. Feels... like you're walking into a cartoon, but in a good way. Colors are clean & neat, inside the anecdotal line. Pure Joy is like Pier1 Import & Bed Bath & Beyond had a baby. Your sight & smell senses are going to have a field day. QR code menus only, which Ican appreciate although we're coming out of the pandemic and viewing menus on a tiny smart phone gets old quickly. We ate in butgot served drinks in a plastic cup with lids & straws. Come on PJ! Lets get with the save the environment campaign. Good lunchselections and prices somewhat bearable until you realize some portions are strangely tiny. The food otherwise is delicious.Excellent lemonade. I saw the vegan lasagna on a post on their Instagram and was so excited to try it! My mouth dropped when I picked it up and saw... the tiny, flat little lasagna in the container. Lasagna should be thick with lots of layers. This looked like a snack, thesaddest little lasagna I’ve ever seen (just look at the photos). I asked at the counter and the cashier said it was because itwas “keto-friendly”, which it definitely was not advertised as such on the menu. Either way, what I received for the price Ipaid was ridiculous. My mom ordered the Tostones Montados, she took one bite and left the rest… she was not impressed. Wealso ordered a brownie, which we only noticed was missing from the order after we already left (but were charged forit). Basically, we ended up feeling totally ripped off. Such a cute, healthy and DELICIOUS spot to have breakfast, lunch or dinner. Love the variety of options the menu has especially... if you’re trying to have a cheat meal that still healthy for you! Not a great experience overall. We were very charmed by the theme of this place (summer and colourful). However the customer... service wasn’t too great. The waiter didn’t know his menu very well, and they served me the wrong drink and also got myplate wrong. These things happens so it’s not a big deal but I guess I would have handled it differently that’s all (: Other than that this place has great potential, the avocado toast are very tasty and I’m sure they have have many other foodthings on their menu.
