Came here because I was referred by a coworker. I ordered the cowboy burger to go and while I waited I had a beer. I opened the... to go box and was surprised how big the burger was! It was one of the best Burgers I have had in a long time. The atmosphere ispretty cool. Looks like a cozy place to hangout and play some pool in the winter months. I will be frequenting cascade due towork so I will definitely have to eat here more often. Read more
It's important to understand that this is a cowboy bar/restaurant. When you read my review, keep that in mind. All three of us... had the prime rib. There was some distinction between the steaks, some a little thicker than another. We had a slight hiccupwhere we received two steaks cooked medium well and we only ordered one that way. But in looking at the steaks it didn't seem tobe much of a difference other than the thickness maybe it cooked faster? The veggies were slightly overcooked. But the potatowas done perfect. This prime rib was a good value. If it wasn't for the veggies I would have rated the visit a five star cowboybar restaurant. There are only a few choices in this area and I like them all. This one is my favorite for the type ofatmosphere it has. If I want something a little more fancy I go to Ragazza Di Buffalo. Read more
Great service and cool vibe. My sister and I split the grilled turkey and bacon Sammy and it was delicious. We started off with... bruschetta which was average (too much garlic). The warm Brie and huckleberry was delicious. Our waitress was AMAZING and was soon top of it. Will definitely be back. There?s also a cool antique store next door worth checking out. Read more
The waitresses can seriously move; I'd be interested to know the read out on their fit bit! The quality of service is out of... this world! I had the Philly cheese steak and it was perfect and the small green salad was loaded. For me the menu was limitedon personal preference but still has something for everyone (kids included). The atmosphere is welcoming and upbeat. Did Imention the service? Cougar Dave's is definitely worth a walk across Highway 55 or swimming across Cascade Lake for aHuckleberry margarita!!! Read more
This place serves a solid burger and french fries and cold beer. It?s good not great. Three stars. However, it?s five stars if... you compare it to anything else on the highway. The wait staff is especially friendly even if they?re overworked. Read more
I had the Bison Burger was absolutely delicious. The garlic fries and onion rings were perfectly cooked golden brown and crunchy... just the way I like them. The atmosphere is great here with its western cowboy feel and a fire burning in the corner. If youare ever in McCall or Donnelly Idaho area this place is a must do. Read more
I walked in there was no sign saying that they would seat you. I found a place by the fireplace and the waitress came up very... rudely and moved me to a different table told me that the owner were very strict on seating yourself. I ordered my food to goand I got something for lunch tomorrow. The burger was very dry no sauce on it. The fries were under cooked. Hopefully my lunchwill be better tomorrow. Definitely will not be going back. I?ll eat a hot pocket from the gas station before I go back. Read more
