GO HERE! Ok, now that I got that out of the way... You know a place is good when you go there twice in a day. Breakfast was... delicious. The cheese in that Meat Lover's omelette oozed out. So good. So I knew we were going back. It was just a question ofwhen. But when I saw a Broasted Chicken option on the specials board, I was in. It was SO juicy and the breading was so lightbut flavorful. Delicious! The burger my other half ordered was cooked medium rare just as he ordered . I ordered a blt , and they did not skimp... on the nice thick cut bacon , and a nice thick tomato slice! The onion rings were perfectly sweet , definitely never frozen . Weonly wished we lived closer , we would eat here more often ! We honestly didn't know what to expect from Jimmy's, but we took a chance and I'm sure glad we did! It's a great little... American dinner. I initially had their classic burger and fries (don't want to take risks on a new place) and it was reallygood. Cooked just the way I wanted, the staff was responsive, friendly, and non-intrusive. I was pleasantly surprised by myexperience there. I've been back several times now... it's our go-to spot for casual dining in Dodgeville. The chicken salad(pictured) is great and so are the skillets (also pictured) and come with great pancakes... I think they have vanilla added tothem... really tasty! The service is good, the atmosphere is very casual, and the food tastes great... a good value for themoney. All of my experiences there have been positive. Found this little gem while traveling through the area. The staff were attentive and friendly. It was cute to hear them... chatting with customers who seem to be regulars. My salad was good, with tender chicken pieces and lots of fresh tomatoes. Ialso ordered a small cup of chicken and dumplings that we both loved! My husband's chicken was boasted and delicious!! He said"the skin was crispy and delicate and the meat was juicey". Oh...and the french fries were especially good too!! Highlyrecommend! Read more
